This only year 4ish of the current gen Mustang and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the old face. Only thing I can see is maybe Ford is saving a few bucks by removing the fog lamps. I don’t hate it, but 2015-2017 is better.

What state do you live in that has no tolls, BFE? Have you been to any major city in the US, better than good chance they have tolls. It’s easier to get a toll road passed than a tax increase to pay for the road. The argument is always why should I pay for a road I’m never going to use or why should I pay for a…
Last time I was on a FL toll road not only were the tolls maddeningly inconsistent you also had to pay 50c to get off the toll road. Might be 1.25 at this one and 3 at the next.
Try badge engineering a Corvette or a Viper.
This road would not withstand Interstate Highway levels of use.
That first one you linked has nearly half the mileage of this one and is in excellent condition. You would have to spend north of $20k to begin to get this one to like like that and then you still have a car with nearly twice the mileage. That’s why it is crack pipe.
I just don’t see it. Unless these are bottom basement cheap I just don’t see the room for them. The Dart/200 siblings failed. Mitsubishi is clinging to life support. Hyundai/KIA are losing ground. Ford, Chevy, Ram, Jeep, and just about everyone else out there are doubling down on SUVs cause cars don’t sell at…
Was it really a hybrid or could it just use Ethanol?
Called it well before this news. I said they would probably toss an electric motor with that little 3 pot from Fiesta or some such and make a hybrid, although more likely based off of the current 2.3 ecoboost setup with some hybrid wizardry.
Your WRX won’t try to kill you on slick roads, 4WD. Can actually carry 4 people. Think about what you will look like crawling out of that Vette, I know if it were me it would not be a pretty site.
Interesting that they pointed out the 2.3L EcoBoost, but chose the Focus RS version. Considering it is the same base engine in the EcoBoost Mustang and there will exponentially more of those made than the Focus RS version. I can’t recall what the major difference between the two is other than the Focus having a…
I love the idea of dropping in a more reliable and powerful engine, lets face it the stock offering is a bit of a dog and way underpowered. For 19 large I want a pristine example not an 85% complete project. Even then that price is too much and this isn’t even the full meal deal Westphalia or Syncro. Big ol’ sad CP…
Stock motors in things like this are already highly strung tuned machines, adding power isn’t easy. Parts for them can be 2-3x as much. The reason is they didn’t make anywhere close to the same number of engines. In comparison big American V8s will outnumber the engine in that Cayman by a huge margin. Meaning the…
Turbos add more complexity and points of failure to an engine than just adding cylinders and displacement.
Also, totally don’t go to this site. http://www.thepreownedstores.com/inventory.aspx
I thought of your articles a few weeks ago I saw an old CJ with Caterpillar stickers on the hood, but I was like nah that guy doesn’t need another old Jeep. Plus it was outside of Atlanta and the CL add said it would start, but wouldn’t stay running. I’m sure chasing fuel supply/power issues are a load of fun.
You can find decent Comanche’s all day for less than half of that, then make it more capable and reliable and still come out in the green.
The point being you have something more solid to mount a tow rig than a 100% unibody car.
I said the same thing. You can buy two Comanche’s for that price and they are body on frame.
What are the millions upon millions of people who rent and live in apartments going to do?
