I thought it was worth its own post, but was sure my colleagues would not agree.
Fernando Alonso’s small cat
Correct. This took about three months of work on David’s end and mine, in addition to the daily grind, breaking news, video planning and shooting, and the massive time-suck that is Car vs. America. Glad you enjoyed it; stuff like this takes time to pull off right.
If they published 3 long-form articles per day, they wouldn’t be able to keep the lights on. Journalism like this takes proportionally MUCH more time than shorter articles. This is like the 911's that probably wouldn’t exist if Cayenne didn’t pay the bills.
This is dumb. They can and do produce good long reads, reviews and other featured articles, but there’s nothing wrong with filling out the day with small blurbs, updates, and even silly throwaway articles too. One doesn’t preclude the other.
Really wish Porsche hadn’t settled at all.
Oh fuck off. You get in someone else’s supercar, you hit the gas, the tires aren’t “performing at the level they should be”? If you decide to double the speed limit on a public street in a vehicle that you are not personally 100% certain of, it’s on you, bro.
Yeah, that Porsche is just too dangerous, not like all these other cars that would totally not be fucking destroyed when crashing at extremely high speeds on city streets. Nope, they just got that kind of crash protection you can’t find on the Porsche, even against hard obstacles that you would find next to roads…
You’re wrong, and you know it.
You’re right, could use at least tenfold more creases and divots and fake vents.
This is possibly the most concentrated image of the early 90s/late 80s I’ve ever seen. I was a kid, but I remember.

A news site... posts the news?!!?!? SACRELIGE!
Get over yourself. They get more traffic from fans that watched the race wanting to talk about it.
This has already been covered by Jalopnik two years ago. There is no such thing as spoilers in motor racing. It’s a live event, the moment it happens, it’s not a spoiler, it’s called news.
How well does it jump?
An automated line to do something as simple as secondary packaging of say, syringes, can take months and months to set up beyond the initial design, build, debug, install, etc.
They throw their cocaine trays at mirrors and scream “I’M A STAR, BITCH” a lot, but that happened before too.
Why are football players governed by “military regs”? Ball players are not drafted into the military.
