I have a MK7 GTI with winter tires in Chicago, and its tremendous. I get the sense that unless i live in the mountains, I dont know what AWD or 4x4 is really needed for as long as you have a good set of winters.

I think this is why Hyundai call it a crossover, because its definitely a little bigger than an hatchback but doesnt look as ugly as a traditional CUV or SUV. Looks fantastic!
