Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Pretty much the last Aliens style horror/action mash up.

Empire Strikes Back?

Can you imgine if they got a bad actor for Dyson? Probably would have sunk the whole movie.

'How Courtney still gets hired completely escapes me.'

alcoholism. Ditto James Remar and William Hurt.

Supposedly Henriksen and Forsythe just improvised most of their dialogue. So I give Lance credit for one of my all time favorite lines.

Which topp ed the super market robbery opening of The Enforcer.

'Come with me if you want to liveā€¦'

And, supposedly, if you want to have any contact with your daughter.

I really liked her in Final Girl too. Shes definitely on my radar as far as actors to watch.

Yeah im a big fan of simplicity too. Check out A Colt Is My Passport, or Le Samourai if you havent, great economic crime movies.

NBK doesnt track as an action movie for me, but im all for a long piece on it. I love it even if its super divisive.

It doesnt get brought up alot but Ford injured himself and something like 50% of the movie was shot with his stunt double. Makes you wonder what it would have been like with all him.

If you really want your mind blown watch Young Sherlock Holmes and the RDJ Sherlock back to back. Tons of repeated ideas-Secret Societys, 'supernatural' poisonings, hallucinations, someone jumps out of a window while on fire. If you count the 2nd RDJ film it even has a the dying love interest.

Breslin was great in that too. Really underrated recent horror movie. I preferred it to It Follows even.

Yeah its basically Hudson Hawk but Good-Bad instead of just Bad-Bad.

(Leon) The Professional needs to be 1994. Its trailer is a better action movie than most.

Also Near Dark.

One of the best moments in JP is Grant laying on the breathing tricerotops and thats something you will never be able to create as well w/ cgi

Not to mention his completely ridiculous accent in Cliffhanger
