Man Biggles is sooo much better than it has any right to be. Keeps the time travel wonkery to a minimum and concentrates on a pretty straight forward story.

King Willys Voodoo Posse?

I checked HD+MM, it came out in '91 which makes it feel even more anachronistic.

True Romance AND The Crow! this guy knows whats up.

Matrix definitely.

'The rest of the movie doesn't even try to measure up.'

Spielberg got his second of only 2(!!!) best director oscars for it.

I still cant believe Michael Bay didnt direct that.

Considering Frankenheimer was a genius Id say it was intentional.

Patriot Games is great because Ford is perfect for Ryan in that story. But his casting pretty much killed the franchise.

Patriot Games is the best Ryan movie. Only thing that could have bettered it is Baldwin and McTiernan coming back.

1992 HAS to be Hard Boiled. I dont care what excuse you come up with.

If theyres anybody that deserved a better career from the 80s its Thompson. Dude held his own against Stallone AND Arnold when he was what, 25?

'Brian Thompson plays an ubermacho misogynist mercenary leading a team of female assassins masquerading as his models.'

Stones so underrated in this. She could have been the only villain quite frankly.

Sorry nothing with a topless Gina Gershon can be 'anti sexy'. agree on your point though.

I read a review that noted he actually tried to make it in HollyWood, but couldnt find an actress willing to do it.

Jon Hamm as Galt obviously.

Pretty much the platonic ideal of Hauer as a good guy. He even gets in some tortured brooding stuff.

Booth is great as a hero in Walter Hill's Southern Comfort too. He has a great range, and personally would have been my pick for Rooster Cogburn in True Grit.
