I decided to give the Wild Mage variant of Sorcerer a go in 5th edition, and it’s been pretty fun thus far, but the best part is the fact that I keep getting the same wild surge.
Wild Mage is basically built for great stories. Waaaay back in 2nd Edition D&D I rolled a Wild Mage who was a pretty evil bastard. Villages were basically just so much kindling and orphans belonged in my Bag of Holding so I can pull out totally insane children whenever I wanted.
