I love making new characters! That’s like half the adventure for me. My latest is a Tabaxi Bard named Smoke On The Water. He’s kind of like if Bob Ross were a cat person. Very calm, very soothing, almost monotone voice. He uses Prestidigitation and Minor Illusion in his performances to make them shine. He loves

FFT made a pretty decent transition to iOS and tap controls. Shining Force and Shining Force II ought to get bundled and put on iOS too. I’d love to replay it on the go.

Who could’ve foreseen that the man with facial tattoos and day-glo teeth was a bad person? He has sixty nine tattooed all over his body and his head looks like a kaleidoscope threw up on it, how could anyone have seen this coming?

These games do not hold up well. At all. They are mostly tedious walking around filled with awkward dialogue done with wooden voice acting, all of it punctuated by a few brief QTE’s or Virtua Fighter-style fight scenes. It was novel back in the day but these days it’s just really, really boring.

I only wish the music change was for the whole game, not just that specific event quest. I’d give anything to, as long as my Palico is geared up as Mega Man, to have the battle music change to a classic MM tune. But at least the costume itself is super cute, makes classic MM noises, and you get that cool new

Have you played the Shadowrun games, Gita? Because I can recommend those if you like getting invested in a world and characters. Dragonfall and Hong Kong are terrific and I go back to them periodically.

Kain is basically my favorite vampire ever, bar none. Simon Templeman does an outstanding job voicing him.

They already reeled in the big fish. The ‘whales’ that were going to blow tons of money on loot boxes have come and gone now. So, now they turn around and play The Good Guy by shutting down the microtransactions and, hey, now they’re going to get sales from people who wouldn’t buy the game when it had loot boxes, but

Didn’t they previously say that there wouldn’t be cosmetics because “nobody wants to see Darth Vader in pink” or “it would ruin the canon” or something like that? And then later fans discovered that there actually was a cosmetics feature in the game the whole time? So how many lies deep are we into this thing now?

I hadn’t seen that image of the little girl before now. It’s so adorable and I love it. It’s nice to get something to uplift your spirits once in a while amidst all this news of corporate greed and political ignorance.

My big hurdle with the SMT series isn’t the difficulty, it’s that they all take place in Tokyo. Like the article said, it can be REALLY confusing. The games seem to expect you to have some knowledge of Tokyo or something. I can’t remember every location and every side street and the labyrinthine structure of the

Andrew Jackson would not run into that school to save kids. He’d run into that school for the chance to beat a man half to death. Jackson’s bloodlust runs deep. When a man named Richard Lawrence tried to assassinate Jackson, Lawrence drew a pistol on him, but it misfired. So he produced a second pistol, which also

I loved everything about Deadbolt when I played it. Even the soundtrack is really top notch. I reccomend hitting YouTube and giving ‘The Choir Invisible’ and ‘Ashes to Ashes, to Ashes (to Ashes)‘ a listen. Great game overall. Gets really tough at the end, too.

It’s like the water is too hot and Geralt is trying to lower himself into it gently an inch at a time. It looks like hee’s hovering above the tub and the heat is slowly melting him.

You do have roof tiles that are available, but I think the build style is an homage to old RPG’s, like the older DQ games.

At least Billy is still the reigning champion of Most Excuses Given. No one can ever take that honor away from him.

If I ever have a daughter, I want her to be like this little girl. I’m so proud.

That was probably Wildstar you’re talking about. You got a house early in the game, it was instanced, you could decorate and customize it extensively, and even put things like resource nodes, training dummies, and small dungeon entrances on it.

Billy is an extremely talented retro gamer. That is beyond doubt. He’s done some amazing stuff live. The problem is that he’s also extremely arrogant and can’t stand the thought of being outplayed, and has done some real shady stuff to try and stay on top.

I always hate seeing Holmes (or a character influenced by him) wearing that deerstalker cap, or a hat with ear flaps on it. The deerstalker was drawn on Holmes by illustrator Sidney Paget. While the stories do mention him wearing a traveling cap with ear flaps on it, this was only mentioned one time and such a hat
