The idea of NASCARs turnin both left and right frightens and confuses me.

The irony of”War” justifying an example of income inequality in the extreme to “Ark” is pretty telling.

If that’s true, why are the strongest objections to exiting the EU coming from hardcore capitalist corporate leaders?

LeMans is a race where new and radically different cars can race to win. Cars like the Delta Wing and Nissan’s front-wheel drive LMP entry. They may not win, but it’s cool as hell that they’re out there contending.

What happens to the rubber that wears off tires? Given how fast tires lose tread, it seems like there should be piles of it along every heavily-traveled road .

Simply put, on some launches the Falcon doesn’t have enough fuel left to fly all the back to Cape Canaveral. The barge’s location out at sea is a much shorter return trip.

Actually this upgrades might be enough to finally get me to trade the Mini. Especially the suspension upgrades.

If anyone can actually buy one at those prices and I'll be amazed. Just like the 4C was supposed to sell for $60k...

My 1st car was a ‘66 Sprite I bought for $600. Fitting into it wasn’t a big issue for me, but damn it was tough to work on. I remember lying in the footwells to unbolt the hood. They’d put in bolts 3" too long, and the ratchet would turn 1 click at a time in the space I had to swing the wrench. Everything on the car

Mazda has always had a special status for me as well. Back in the 70's when I was becoming aware of cars, Mazda was truly different. Their rotary cars and light pickups just blew everything else away, both in design but especially in power. They were the definition of “leading edge” in the automotive industry.

Why not have a race series that uses the vehicles as delivered? Obviously a few safety items would be required, but not tens of thousands of dollars worth. No, the races wouldn’t be as fast, no they wouldn’t be as extreme as a race with $60k SXSs, but so what? More people could enter and the racing would be just as

This is exactly why the nation’s founders made a point of separating church and state. When you mix in two religions; Christian and NASCAR, it really gets out of hand.

And thank YOU for the references to the good Dr. Thompson. An American literary icon if ever there was one.

Speaking of “Merkur” vs. Mercury, back when these were driving around town I mistook the “4" for an “A,” so I’d call one an “Ex-Rah-Tee.” I haven’t gotten any smarter since then.

Why would you want all that plastic on a bike that’s sure to go over? We’re usually on this same page Sean, but this thing is hideous.

Your point would be valid if the Mini was comparable to those other cars you mentioned. But it’s not; it’s a much higher quality vehicle in every respect. I rent cars frequently, and every time when I fly in and drive my Mini home, I’m struck by what a fine car it is. I’m on my second Mini now, and I’m 100% satisfied

As bad as this is, it may not be the driver’s fault. We spend our entire driving lives learning to recognize and react to 4-wheeled vehicles, not bikes. Studies have shown that when drivers say they “never saw the motorcycle,” they really didn’t. The “picture” was there in their eyes, but their brain didn’t process

“The actual return on the investment into the moonshot was massive and game-changing for the United States. It set us up not just for economic success in the decades that followed, ones in which companies like Apple flourished, but it gave us the economic vitality and technological prowess to win the Cold War.”

They’ve actually exceeded the dipshitedness of BMW’s merchandise advertising. Something I didn’t think was possible.

For me the real question on the new GT is: how will it do at Le Mans? My friends and I watched the Rolex and were disappointed, but not surprised, that the cars had issues. Will you be ready in June?
