Yep--full agreement here. Also, the guy is only 60, and after what he’s dealt with he could rightfully be a wizened old fart yelling at everyone. Could we not call him old?
And it’s hysterical to me that even out of office he’s still supposed to behave better than 99.99999% of everyone else in this fucked up country. I love all the whataboutisms happening right now. Like if you weren’t pissed off about all the Orange Traitor rallies, you can’t be pissed off about an old man’s party…
You know what? If the Obamas want to go off and live the wealthy fantasy life, I can’t think of any couple who has earned it more. For eight (more, really) years, they did their best for us and put up with the most vile garbage any first couple has ever had to deal with, and then the country slapped all their effort…
I have small (B cup or so) droopy “tubular” (?) boobs and honestly... maybe these would make them look good for a day or special outfit. My boobs are too saggy to go braless (and they came that way with puberty I feel so cheated that I never had perky round breasts).
That’s just smart. I don’t know whether her decision was strong or brave (I think it was, but that’s not as relevant), but it was absolutely rational and smart. She’s going to live in that body for the rest of her life, and risking death or serious injury just for yet another medal isn’t worth it.
Sorry! I was meaning to just share that we are coming from a similar perspective. I just very rarely meet other people dealing in repro health besides my wife and I got excited.
Do you think that the American Academy of Gynecologists, Planned Parenthood, and American Association of Pediatrics are also incorrect? Because they have all recently stated that while they want universal access to BC to be available OTC BC runs the risk of creating a cost burden without additional protections? What…
I mistyped there. The ACA requires prescription BC to be covered and I am saying that we need to ensure that the OTC BC is covered by insurance. The ACA doesn’t cover OTC medication unless a doctor writes a prescription.
It is a wild jump to assume that I’m suggesting that all prescription BC would go away because it is available OTC. When is the last time you were prescribed asprin, pseudoephedrine, or loratadine? Doctors just tell you to go grab them at the store. If the formulation of bc is what works for you but is OTC the odds of…
No one is suggesting that prescription birth control will go away all together but if a doctor was going to write a script for a formulation that is OTC they are probably not going to do it anymore if it is available OTC. That means it isn’t available to be purchased with insurance and that means that the ACA no…
I’ve seen several arguments that OTC BC is a way to ensure that insurance companies don’t have to cover it. When we talk about cheap are we talking about $5-$10 per month like otc Claritan or $30-$50 per month like otc xyzal? That is a big difference that will mean a lot to people being able to afford it.
father figure? family friend? fickle fapper? flamboyant fuckboi?
“I carry some of this in a ziploc bag on road trips to mix into any water bottle or thermos.”
Yeah I’m a trans woman and calling this “misgendering” feels kind of insulting, honestly. If you say you’re comfortable with two sets of pronouns, you can’t act like it’s this massively egregious thing for people to default to one or the other. I get that people always defaulting to “cis” pronouns feels like they’re…
Ah yes, “no more press” is exactly what every major label wants to hear right before an album cycle.
I don’t consider myself ignorant about gender identity and pronouns, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone who said that they prefer “she/they” (or “he/they”) pronouns get upset because only one of the two pronouns was used. I genuinely thought it meant they were comfortable with either of them, not that it was…
You dolts only have one joke.
There is no such thing as a person who doesn’t need to use their hands, except if they are in a coma. You have to wipe yourself, brush your teeth, feed yourself, dress yourself. At the minimum.
When I was in my early 20s, I rode the bus a lot and there was a bus driver whose nails were about as long as her fingers. And, not in the “I never cut my nails” gross kind of way. They were manicured and painted (for all I know, they were acrylic. I never asked.)
