Don’t feed the Burners. These are the same people who’ve been calling Goodell and idiot and for him to resign... until he went after the Patriots. Now he’s a genius and the greatest commissioner in sports.

How do you know he got the “over arching story” correct if the details that support it are lies? Unless it’s just something you want to believe?
Hey hey hey get those ‘facts’ and ‘science’ out of here, there is no room for that when it comes to the NFL and Tom Brady. He destroyed his cell phone so THERE!
Don’t try and stop the takes from flowing.
Are you one of the few out there still ignoring all of the independent scientific analysis showing that the deflation was well within the natural range for the weather conditions?
Meanwhile, Peter King will continue to be fed just about anything by the NFL.
I think you might be missing the point. Those PSI readings would largely, if not totally, fall under the Ideal Gas Law, thereby plausibly explaining the PSI drop as something other than human intervention. It also doesn’t appear that there are any pregame readings, so if a ball was 11.9 PSI and not 12.5, a 1lb drop…
Wow. I’m sort of speechless.
It’s fine to shit on things that are bad out of choice (e.g. most southern states’ public school systems*) as opposed to things that generally lag behind “American exceptionalism” due to poverty and/or infrastructure.
Yes, but at least the DR has one to call out.
MVP Baseball 2005 is number one and its not even close. I kept my xbox just so I could still play that game.
Nah. True Detective S1 had the unreliable narrator/Rashomon/then and now dual timelines which REALLY added to the mystery. Cary Fukunawa’s directing was leaps and bounds ahead of the directing this season. The other issue is that every character in this season talks like Nic Pizzolato. In the first season all the…
This isn’t anti-DC, at all. It just comes off as a ‘here, liten to this thing’ post.
I’d never seen a Mad Max movie in my life; when the franchise was described to me, it sounded unbelievably dumb. I had no hype, no interest whatsoever in a Mad Max sequel. And Fury Road might be my favorite movie of all time. So, uh ... there’s definitely also something to be said for a talented guy with a passion,…
That doesn’t make sense with the rest of the orbital dynamics. A collision big enough to cause melting should be big enough to disrupt the orbits, yet Pluto-Charon demonstrate the characteristics of an old, settled system with their dual synchronistic.
That’s one of the new questions raised by New Horizons. Pluto’s surface appears much younger than was expected. From what we know, a young surface is evidence of geological activity. But how can something as small as Pluto still be geologically active? But... if it’s not, why is its surface so young?
They accept it as fact because they are professionals and they don’t inject random, non-sense emotions in what is a pure technical *classification*. :)
It’s possible that the massive collision between Pluto and Charon was enough to generate a subsurface ocean. If it did, a neat feedback loop could keep that ocean from completely freezing, enabling icy tectonics. Read more about collisions & subsurface oceans here.
Someone needs to be in charge of names. For astronomers, that’s the International Astronomer’s Union. As long as the definition is consistently applied, then it doesn’t particularly matter what that name is. Dwarf planet, minor planet, small solar system body... Whatever name we like best, it makes sense to pull Pluto…
Why is it easier for you to accept changing the meaning of "it" than simply making official the way people already use "they"?
