E65(short wheel base)/6(long wheel base) is the 7 series you’re referencing. Not E63. E63 is a 6 series.

15" is a LOT of length in a car. It’s more than the general increase in length from one size category to the next for cars. 

They painted them mostly white to avoid that.

The value of the the ForTwo was its size, which made it super easy the maneuver and park in places other cars wouldn’t fit. Granted it was just unnecessary in North America. You also didn’t get the diesel engine which made it a lot more economical to run.
