I so need to import one of those as soon as I legally can. :)

There are always big and small cars. We went through the same hysteria when SUVs started to get popular.

I would have gone with the

My X5 45e (PHEV) weighs 5,625, and isn’t even a full EV. I don’t think 5,600-ish for a full midsize EV crossover like the Lyriq at all. The e-tron weighs similarly, and has considerably less range.

Remember that bridge in Minnesota which collapsed due to maintenance work—the construction equipment and backed-up cars’ weight was too much for the bridge and down it went. Just think how if the cars were Hummers, less than half that number of vehicles would cause that bridge to collapse. How “good” of us.”

I agree with one point you made.

Sedans have been 3000 lbs plus for a very long time. This is not a new phenomenon.

You’re going to run a 9000lb Truck/SUV off the road? Good luck!

First of all, every single one of these heavy EVs has every safety system already baked in because of the higher overall cost. They have emergency braking, collision avoidance and lane centering as standard. Thus, they are better at avoiding hitting other obstacles than the average vehicle around them.

GM comes out with cheap BEV... “GM is stupid for trying cheap cars”

I’m surprised by how little the situation has halted the momentum for EVs

This opinion of yours has been debunked many times using actual data.  Please stop spreading FUD.

Yeah!

Lol. You think UPS package cars have AC?

Joking aside, what really sucks is that it seems like this stuff will screw the small businesses that make eating out interesting.

This one’s a classic from the Obama years, but still perfectly accurate:

It’s funny how many free market fans do not understand the basic workings of the marketplace.

I have also leaked

Yes! If any of you still says “I would buy it if it had more power.”

That’s extremely poor logic. I have no other words. That’s like a mindset from the 50's.
