I figured the 1:1 was preferred to take torque multipliers from shorter gearing out of the equation. If the pull was done in a 4.10 ratio wouldn’t the numbers be a lot higher than actual engine output? Maybe not I honestly have no actual experience with operating dynos.

Cobb is new to the game all of their tunes are overly richened, the numbers are all conservative but the Access Port isn’t really intended to just use their off the shelf tunes, think they also want to give business to tuners in their network that can protune their software, since all of the Cobb OTS tunes are free

Put it this way (as far as the tune) if I bought a downpipe and installed it using the Cobb stage 2 I wouldn’t even gain anything over the MAP stage 1 with a stock down pipe and might even lose performance

Forgot to mention the reverse stiffness goes away in a few days

It is the best mod I have on my car as far as bang per buck performance wise and that’s saying a lot considering my tune is the MAP peformanxe stage 1 on an access port; I love it too they quoted 252 whp 270 something wtq it was a ridiculous gain compared to the Cobb off the shelf tunes

Lol ya because the clown shoe isn’t an acquired taste or anything (especially considering the kid is a child). Im sure a small child would walk right by a z3 coupe in favor of a riced out 96 civic sedan because kids are kids.

40 dollars and some change on ECS tuning look up dogbone insert it’s a Poly bushing that goes around the stretch bolt in your trans mount to make it stiffer. It will feel crazy stuff in reverse at first but it wears in, one of my wheels is slightly bent and it actually helped with road noise

Get some cheap mods like the torque arm insert, it eliminated my wheel hop 100% but I still peel hella rubber

This is the way to go, I have An AP for my mk6 with the MAP tune. It’s comparible to the APR numbers with better throttle range and I actually lags my spool a little so I don’t just blow the tires off, I like it

This appears to be professionally done, and had a shop cited in the article. You don’t buy something that Billy Joe built in his garage on his off time cutting corners to put a Japanese power plant in a German car or anything of that nature. I would also go as far to say that this isn’t a project, this is a finished

A little music trivia for all you automobile nuts, Skrillex was first named Sonny Moore and a member in a shitty emo band called From First to Last circa 2005-2006. This really has no point other than empty emo artist awareness

I called this when the car was announced then I posted in all of your ridiculous estimations that you and others were way off and not even viewing comparable cars in the market with similar displacement. You all can be shocked but it had about 5 more horse than I thought it would. Did you guys really think they were

Also to add to this point I would think NASCAR would only gain from having more female drivers on the grid, look at the UFC before Connor mcgregor got so big Ronda was the highest paid athlete on the roster and got a whole different demographic of fans in attendance. More women on the field would equal more fans, I

I’m not a sexist in any way or form, but all I see when I look at this is obviously marketing. They had attractive women at events handing out monsters for the last decade at least long before the NASCAR series. They are putting women at these events that attract a great percentage more men in attendance than women.

Lol @ repair costs, this is never getting repaired. This car will spend the rest of its days off in the land fill

And also I’m sure those are off the shelf tunes more can be gained from a protune but usually that’s limited too. That is a crazy increase to say the least

Not saying that’s incorrect because of the amount of info readily available from a google search but it seems to me out of 3 links from retailers the average gain for the 1.5T is 20-28 horsepower on a stage 1 hondata flash which to me signifies what a tuner can do with the car as is. Obviously you can increase those

Not entirely really the engine internals are different, the e has a higher displacement and higher torque figure with a lower power number and redline, I’m not really dealing with much on the engine hopefully but I think the e uses a different style flow meter to regulate the AFR and has the o2 sensor in a different

I’m willing to wager that your (and everyone else’) assumption of the civic si breaking 210 (even 200 for that matter) hp is probably going to leave you dissapointed. Every other car in the into hot hatch segment we will call it with similar displacement figures usually have smaller turbos which are tuned for low

Can I get your email Patrick? I am up to my ears in repairs on a 2.7 e30 that I got with tons of hidden problems, I almost have all of them taken care of but I have a few questions and am pretty pressed to find anyone else that has one of them
