Tera is much less gear dependent than WoW, including DPS races. Mistakes in DPS are much more forgiving in Tera, at the top level.

You can give a group +12 gear and send them to Kaprima HM and they won't kill it if they aren't good enough to kill it. Give a raid group in WoW HM tier and they can faceroll it, ignoring entire mechanics.

FFXI was a game for masochists. It punished you for anything and everything, and yet you still come back. I can't decide if it's terrible game design, or genius. I think I logged about 300 days on it.

I'm referring to progression content, not getting the highest tier when it's 5 months old.

The lack of end game content, PvE wise, worries me. Hard modes aren't hard enough and there are only a handful of instances to run. Nexus to me is mostly a throw-away, too simple and uninteresting, and apparently gives the best loot.

The injector is by far the most overhyped mod. It looks terrible and makes everything very grainy, wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you think making everything sharper somehow means higher quality.

Then you'd either want to play top lane or in the jungle. Junglers see the most action, top lane sees the least. However, you can't really jungle very effectively before level 30 and pretty much all games pre-30 are shitfests (i.e everyone does whatever they want).
