I liked the scene, but I really dislike when games don't include real time damage. For something that's supposed to be that raw and visceral, cuts from the knife have to show up when you slice him, and not just added when it switches to cutscene. If they can do it in 10 year old games, pretty sure they can do it…

Oh he wasn't baiting, I knew he had nothing. He was a teen who raged frequently, although I'd have done the same to anyone else, just happened to be extra hilarious. Some crazy things can happen with a guy with 1 card in their hand a turn from dead, I had no idea what was in his deck. Dumb kid is dumb.

I really couldn't care less about the colour of my characters' skin. I don't see why this is even worth talking about. Why does there have to be a dedicated black character?

There are no conflicting opinions about who kills what. If you and your opponent disagree on something, you call a judge (there's always at least one at an FNM type event) who will lay down the law.

I played a Valakut game once (a ~21 land deck) and pulled 12 lands in a row. Think I ended up with 16 or 17 out of my 21 on the table before I died. Was very depressing.

I had a guy freak out on me because I wouldn't swing for the win while he had cards in hand. I calmly played out my last turn, swung, asked if he had any blocks or responses (he really didn't like that) and overkilled him by like 10.

I much prefer here stuff to there stuff.

The combat in Tera is by far the best it has going for it, as well as visuals. I like that a lot of fights take time, they aren't gone in the blink of an eye. Some of the large monsters for quests would take 5 minutes to bring down, which makes it more challenging and feels a lot more epic.

I don't know who this guy is, but if he cared at all about promoting fighting games as an E-Sport, he'd know that shouting things like that during a match is just bad PR. And when you're a professional, part of your job is promotion. The sooner people in E-Sports learn that, the better for everyone.

The fact that just because you can say something doesn't mean you should is just as valid as the fact that just because you shouldn't say something doesn't mean you can't.
