PvP is enabled this weekend on one of the servers so I'm looking forward to trying it. I'm a huge fan of the combat, I think it's awesome to have an extra layer of skill on top of knowing what buttons to press and when.

This makes me feel so old. When I was in grade 5 or 6 we spent a week learning HTML. Tables were super advanced, and that swirly green skull .gif showed up at least 10 times in every page.

That's my worry, because I'm unsure of what content is at 58 or how PvP is at that level. Even if it isn't long lasting, I'll still have some good fun playing and leveling and exploring a new MMO.

If making a game that requires a guide on how to enjoy it isn't the exact opposite of good game design, I'm a banana.

I could have written an essay on it when I originally played it. It's been so long, thankfully I've forgotten most of it. Frequently respawning arbitrary checkpoints everywhere was one of the greatest offenders that I can remember.

I thought FC2 was the best example of poor game design I've seen in a long time. Horrible, horrible game in my opinion.

Anyone else take part in the Tera CBT? I jumped in on Saturday and played a good 6-7 hours with my lady friend. A very refreshing take on MMOs, and I'm hoping the skill cap is as high as I think it will be (given the need to aim and dodge things). Love the art style too, very pretty game.
