Gonna dive back into Sekiro this weekend. I’ve been a lot more open to just exploring and seeing what I can do. I’ve kind of sequence-broken the game by getting too far in the present and not completing Hirata Estates (Juzou is a huge pain) but that’s alright; I’m still discovering and unlocking new areas.

Punching holes in the narrative to surprise viewers is what season 7 is all about, baby! And season 6, for that matter. D&D aren’t quite skilled enough to properly reverse-engineer a story.

I am *here* for this. <3

I don’t think these ASMR ladies/MUAs/women on the internet (and to extend to your other point, sex workers) deserve any of it but it doesn’t change that I’m not surprised that they (particularly sex workers and ASMR ladies since they seem to be simulating a kind of intimacy) have to deal with a high volume of creeps

Whatever became of the moment when one first knew about death? There must have been one, a moment, in childhood, when it first occurred to you that you don’t go on forever. It must have been shattering, stamped into one’s memory. And yet I can’t remember it. It never occurred to me at all. We must be born with an

I was originally kind of thinking the same thing, but without your cute sarcasm - if you’re publicly endorsing yourself doing something that seems to “attract” creepy people, shouldn’t you just accept that a small amount of your fan base are gonna be “creepy”...?

Psh, pretending cats are True Neutral. They start life as Lawful Evil at best.

Look, if you turn your family pet from True Neutral to Neutral Evil basically overnight and you don’t give your kid a heads-up, you are not protecting your child from anything. However, with the right ground preparation, this can be a truly multidimensional life lesson. “Don’t trust, kids. Not your cat, not your

People who were oppressed by governments tend to not have the best view of them.

Oh yeah, Kotaku is playing my jams!

Umbrella corporation... Plus the Bridge of Eldin... Plus Fort Frolic...

Polygon did an amazing oral history of Morrowind that I wrote up for GJI this week, and one of the things that it emphasized for me is that it’s really where The Elder Scrolls “starts,” where it went from this collection of half-baked ideas cribbed from an old D&D campaign into its own weird, vibrant thing. (It

Thanks so much! My C- Photoshop skills occasionally come in handy.

Love the visual above the article, William. It worked on me, drawing my eye from left to right.

What From is doing is genius. They have a formula, but they keep switching things up to keep it fresh. It doesn’t hurt that the game is gorgeous.

The Division 2 does have some great moments but the story...does it exist?

I have heard this “they lost the source code” theory many times. I have been unable to corroborate it (outside of this VG247 article). That’s not saying it’s not not true: I have, for example, been able to corroborate the rumor of Sega having lost the Panzer Dragoon Saga source code.

Square Enix’s ports of these classic games have been an absolute joke. It would be one thing if they’d botched one or two of them then gotten their act together, but it’s every single time they release one. And they always seem to be asking at least $30 for a 20+ year old games.

I was saying boo-annis.
