I guess by “make it look more appealing”, I did more mean what you said. Trying to keep the two versions equal. I also don’t exactly fault them for it. Having their launch game face off against a version of itself that is debatably better would have been a difficult sell.

Hey, that’s great to hear! I wasn’t expecting it to hold up at all, looking forward to checking it and the sequel out now.

Don’t get your hopes up; it’s probably a free-to-play trading card game. :(

I grabbed the last unit at my local Toys R’ Us at 10:15. I know our culture these days goes from celebration to backlash at ludicrous speed... But in all honesty, it’s really fucking cool.

Yeah, I stopped by a Walmart on my way into work this morning and didn’t have to stand in line or anything. I’m still kind of amazed I got one, though.

Best Buy had a ton of them for sale at lunchtime. They’re probably not rare in mid-to-small size cities like mine. Can’t wait to get home and legit get emotiomal from all the nostalgia. But its still not a perfect machine without Chrono Trigger.

Decided to stop by my local Best Buy a little after they opened at 10am this morning just to see. I was completely shocked when I walked in and the guy at the door asked if I was there for the SNES Classic, and if so, to take this ticket and get in line to purchase. Whoa! I was #60 and it seems like they had about

I only have like an hour under my belt but it has some great golf mechanics — including being able to just your ball spin and a “precision” mode that shows you exactly where you need to stop your swing to hit your intended target — and the beginnings of a bizarre story so it’s doing everything I want it to do so far.

Aw man, feelin a bit jealous over here!! 😀

I’m amazed they put that many RPGs on there. Super Mario RPG? That’s a given. Final Fantasy? Yes, yes. EARTHBOUND? SECRET OF FUCKING MANA? They really listened to what people wanted. Sort of.

The top five could really go in any order. They’re all masterpieces that everyone should play before dying.

Game I wish was most on here: Illusion of Gaia.

I’m so sorry about your friend, and empathize with your friends dealing with his loss.

It’s the end of the busy month of the year at work, I’m exhausted! With my good boy bonus I got a new TV that’s all about clarity and colours, so I’m veging out, ingesting weeds and playing games with an emphasis on pretty colours.

While I wonder aloud what game to which Gerardi is referring, I’m going to start this off by one bit of housecleaning: due to DL unfortunately being unavailable to do so in October, I’ll be taking over the next Mario Kart 8 on the Eighth. I’ll provide a screen capture and details for it on next week’s WAYPTW and

Everyone processes grief differently, but I think what you’ve hit on here is very important: often (not always, but often) the best way to remember those who’ve gone before us is to live our lives as best we can—to be the best versions of ourselves, and not lose who we are to a morass of grief, longing for a yesterday

I love the way Shinigami Apple Merchant can make those games we got so frustrated with as kids and make them feel special because of, rather than in spite of, their design. I loved Space Quest; the humor in a science fiction setting was important to make me feel like I was getting a worthwhile narrative-I never felt

What I love about Sleeping Dogs is that every one of its elements feels like it belongs in the game. There are none of the extraneous or incongruous activities you often see in other urban open-world games.

I also gave 2B that snazzy blue bow. She deserves it for all her hard work!

I just had an excellent pork bun the other day and thought of this vendor! I quote him all the dang time, such that my partner (who has never played Sleeping Dogs) knows his most famous line by heart and rolls her eyes as she recites it.
