The intent of the app is surely to walk around your empty apartment/dorm and see what it would look like with various couches, bookcases, and lamps in there to encourage you to buy all the things. The most popular usage of the app will be helping your improv partner work on his “going down an escalator” routine when

The moment that Nier shifted from “cool game that I’m enjoying playing” to “holy shit this might be genius” was the first time I went into the cave in the desert. I don’t know why, given that the Factory had already jumped from top-down shooter to over the shoulder action game to side-scroller all in one area, but

Actually, I’m going to keep going on MGS3D! I just wanted to finish before the end of Summer, but I failed...I will bounce around more, though, to other games and take the focus off for a while. I just made it to the Shagohod Base, which is an excellent stopping point, but I’m nervous to quit and have all that good

It’s amazing that it’s been SIX YEARS since the 3DS convinced me AR was close to being a viable toy on a mobile system (EyeToy backs that up even further). I suppose eliminating reference markers has delayed things a bit, but it’ll be interesting to see what games could do with it, though outside of your Animal

Agreed. I think people are making an extra special effort to keep at least this comments section vibrant and interesting.

I agree. Having that game simply appear might have shocked too much to get people used to it. Nintendo plays so far in left field that it’s sometimes better for them to announce things in pieces.

Hey Folks! It’s been a bit! I missed the Friday Gameological festivities entirely last week due to a death in the family (one we knew was coming, but still hurt). And after that I bopped out to Minneapolis for my brother’s bachelor party, so you can imagine the range of emotions I traversed while I was away from

My problem with Neir:A is that their are times you can feel where they ran out of money or had to skimp. Every time I am running around the “open world” and find an arch way with an invisible wall it pulls me out of the game. That and all the old school text instead of voice acting irritates me. I play a lot of

Everything Merve said, plus this: it’s totally a transcendent experience! You will not be disappointed!

I think that the “malfunctioning star button deducts from recommends when clicked on” feature of Kinja is only experienced by the clicker: you can click again and again, reducing a person’s recommends to 0, and it will not result in any actual change to the number of recommends the post has!

Very glad to see the good turnout here, and that the discourse is as polite and positive as ever (and if it gets invaded once it hits the main page we’re probably mostly done here anyway, with KG right around the corner). This kind of environment for discussing video games is very rare, cheers to all of you for your

Good luck pubbing those g’s. I would say that learning the combat is less important than learning when to fight. If your goal is to get tons of kills, then sure, drop in the middle of the military base and see what damage you can do. However, if you wanna win, I would try something like my rules of engagement:

I’m sure you guys will post later, but a shoutout to DrFlimFlam, Derrick Sanskrit and co. for the great MK8 Deluxe tournament! That was my first time ever to play Mario Kart online and I was shocked at how much fun I had! I’m sorry I didn’t get around to thanking everyone as I’m not sure how to send messages on the

I could do that, but I like hotdogs and beer too much.

I don’t know if RE7 is the game to play when life is stressful! Although it’s a great game.

Is the position you’re filling in for higher-up than the previous one? If so, no worries, it’s probably a ‘trial’ before giving you new responsibilities.

It sounds amazing, and A LOT like The Sexy Brutale, which I had thought was a fresh new idea. This also has elements of the eavesdrop-em-up I was wondering about in my post!

Haven’t played any games since last weekend, I was out of town for work and heading out of town this weekend with my wife and get family. Really could have used a Switch!

I WANT SEA OF THIEVES MORE THAN ANYTHING. I love the sound of working as a team to navigate a ship and explore an island. And sea monsters and pirate ghosts!!!! That and Cuphead having me seriously eyeing Xbones...but TWO online monthly charges? Maybe not.

Now playing

I’m glad you’re enjoying Sleeping Dogs so much! And what a great and unique soundtrack too, right? Such a well developed environment with its Hong Kong locale. Sleeping Dogs is not perfect but it’s really something special, and it didn’t HAVE to be that way to be playable or make due.

Anyone who is interested in Mario + Rabbids, Best Buy has it for $30 right now.
