Have you ever pretended to be on a cell phone call though?
Have you ever pretended to be on a cell phone call though?
I was in a theater where that happened once! It’s pretty weird to watch.
My brother-in-law had these when he was in high school. It apparently happens (or at least used to happen in the early 2000s).
Me too - that’s some incredibly bad luck.
I have had nesting nightmares plenty of times. Just last week, in fact! Anyway, it’s the worst.
I’ve had it happen, which sucks. Not even related to having a ton to drink or anything - it could be a first or second beer.
I’m sorry to say I have virtually no recollection. Was one of them a caveman? If so, I picked that person among others.
No, you’re spot on with regard to handheld Splatoon 2. Some folks do like to play it that way, but I found the motion controls don’t work in handheld and playing without the motion controls is too slow for online competition. I was kind of bummed to discover this, since my one knock against the Wii U original was that…
If there’s any justice, that Decap Attack box art will be up in a museum some day.
The Legend of Mana is a perfect entry to this list!
Woo, I’ll add you for Splatoon 2! I almost exclusively play online, though the single-player is indeed quite engaging. It’s kind of a weird quasi-platformer/shooter hybrid, and the art direction is unsurprisingly great. I stalled out about halfway through, but pick it up and play a few levels every couple of months.…
I hear PS4 is the best way to experience Kingdom Hearts. Enjoy yourself - you earned it!
Cool to see this game still being experienced by new fans. I’m pumped to add it to my SNES Classic once I finish Secret of Mana and Mega Man X, as I started a game way back around 2000 but never finished it on PC.
I don’t know anything about those games, but I can read your post! Welcome back.
I finally got a proper Xbox One controller for my PC last week to replace the semi-crummy knockoff version I’d been using, and was super frustrated to discover that the bluetooth has me input lagging like hell. And it’s the most recent firmware, so I guess I’m just up the creek. I used the wire from the knockoff to…
I’m kind of baffled that a God of War game has me more interested in the PS4 than I already was. I played the original one in the series about halfway through, but found it uncomfortable, and what I heard about later ones turned me off the franchise entirely. That said, everything that I’ve heard and seen about the…
Limbo is so cool. A lot of folks preferred its successor, Inside, but I think Limbo is even better.
The important thing is to assume that all content, like life, is ephemeral and on a long enough timescale will be reduced to dust even in the best case scenario. Then anything you manage to save feels like a bonus!
This weekend I’ll be finishing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. My guess at the cliffhanger proved incorrect, as the events I thought the game would leave hanging appear to be being wrapped up throughout the final chapter. I only have the final boss left to complete, and it’s one heck of a challenge. As with…
I think it would be best to exclude games that were major commercial successes in their time, if only because those are the tiltes most likely to be re-released ad nauseum and extend their reach to new mainstream audiences. Although Shadow of the Colossus feels like it should appear on a Cult Canon list - I’m not sure…
