She was the wife of the fallen soldier, but your point still stands.

You and I both know that’s not how he pronounces it.

If the president of the United States needs a translator to speak in English, he needs to not be the president.

He’s a useful idiot. As soon as he stops being useful, they’ll jettison him. Unfortunately, their bar to determine usefulness—as so many others associated with him—is very, very low.

It’s a trial of morality in Congress and white house staff. Thanks to Trump, Republicans control most of, if not, all of higher position politics and they need him to stay in power.

I think this is as an appropriate time as any to point out that both active military and veterans voted for Donny pretty overwhelmingly. Who could have thought that he would make their moms cry? What a shocker.

It’s the “(R)“ next to his name.

Hes only “invulnerable” as it stands now because with him in office the GOP control the executive branch, the house, and the senate. They know that as long as he is there there is a reasonable chance that he will sign whatever garbage legislation they try to ramrod down our throats. They are letting him sit because it

Is that... is that SCAR up there?!

One of my big issues with Legacy heroes, especially in their more recent versions, is that, unless the original character has gone fallow (like the Golden Age heroes when the Silver Age versions were introduced, or say Ant-Man when Scott Lang was), then you’re creating a hero explicitly to take the place of an

Comment/Avatar irony detected.

It’s probably radioactive nostalgia, but I have always liked Burton’s version of Batman, and Keaton’s performance in particular. It was like a living Bronze age comic, heavy on the ham and hyperbole, but somewhat short of completely mindless.

He isn’t some obsessive hulk or fascist or perfect specimen. He’s a haunted, driven person who wants to help fix the world and make it so he isn’t needed.

Until the next election...

Is Gizmodo returning to its science and technology roots? I could not be more pleased to see this article.

Last week, the Sofa Kings podcast interrupted an episode with a very realistic Emergency Broadcasting System alert for a nuclear bomb heading toward the west coast of the U.S. Although I knew on a conscious level that it was likely a joke, this was also in the midst of all the ridiculous Kim Jong-Un and Trump saber

Yeah, I caught that; just trying to square everyone’s relative ages. I guess that’s a fool’s errand in Marvel comics >_>

I caught that, but I wasn’t sure how far back it was supposed to be. I wonder if this means 616 Miles is way older than Ultimate Miles.

Once upon a time, presumably before he and 1610-Miles lived in the same dimension, 616 was an inmate at Ryker’s Island maximum-security prison after taking the fall for his cousin’s involvement with the Rigoletto crime family. Though Miles had willingly chosen to go to prison for his cousin, he’s presented with an

From the article, I think the scene is supposed to be a flashback.
