Sorry I was talking about my gas stove. I should have said “All electric” in that we all use similar devices that could probably be programmed better. Either way most of the time I follow a recipe I have to turn the heat way down and its not like I have some expensive stove that uses hell fire.

Maybe with electric we can get better temperature directions in recipes. I cant tell you how many times a recipe said something like “cook on Medium-high for 10 minutes” and then I put it on medium and in 8 minutes its starting to burn.
