I tried that but the audio kept getting choppy for me. I chalked it up to series of steps involved (roku—>phone—> headphone) but if you had no sound issues then it must have been something on my end. Another thing worth mentioning, which I think is pretty cool, is that you can sync a bluetooth headset to it. I think newer TV’s can do that now but its a pretty cool addition. With Roku you have to plug it in to the remote.
