I'M LIVING IN A COCCOON OF HORROR
best cutting-the-crap ever

Envy and Corky Romano
and I actually liked Envy myself. especially the lethal poison/little person bit.

one of my favorite exchanges
Troy (to Shirley): You're not my mother.
Pierce: She's not?
Jeff: …28 seconds.

to celebrate 9/9/9 i listened to revolution 9 a few times

happy 9/11, everybody.

At the risk of repeating something…
This guy is a total douche! This buzzkill definitely got to me… I was having a good day - I had almost forgotten there are people like Whicker, with their heads THAT FAR up their asses.

RE: Creepshow. My favorite Nielsen segment. WAY better than Stephen King's attempt at acting. Which brings me to Maximum Overdrive. Has time forgotten that movie?

I'll be worried when they start their own traveling carnival, a la the Binewskis.

Hi Todd!
I don't really watch Greek - I saw a couple episodes once and wasn't too blown away. Hopefully the crowd here is nicer than on those Weeds discussions!

Concerning the drug thing - I think there was a pseudo-scientific explanation along the lines of the drug inducing a state of happiness, but then wearing off. So then the Angelus wears off. The drug wasn't as powerful as true happiness or something. I dunno.

Anya is not a demon
Anya is human. She WAS a demon, but is completely human - will age, die, feel emotions like a human - so therefore Spike cannot hurt her.

No, Pilar will get killed, but not by Nancy. And just as she was starting to be helpful again! Any guesses as to whether or not Nancy will screw everything up again through getting Pilar killed????

Here's hoping there's a climactic bloodbath with every violent person introduced on the show involved. I might pay to see the show end in a showdown between assassins, Caesar, Esteban, a gun-wielding Nancy, a knife-wielding Shane, and, I dunno, Romany Malco's character out for revenge.

I've been watching it all through on DVD myself — I just finished season 5. As far as I can tell, the s4 masterplot was a little weak, but I still definitely enjoyed it. The stakes felt lower, in general, and the Willow/Oz breakup is what affected me more.

Elliott Smith is an incredible musician - L.A. seems like a weird choice, though, and yeah, It does not make me feel good seeing his music on a Guitar Hero tracklist. I'm more of a Rock Band fan anyways. It seems like Guitar Hero is trying to cover all their bases as far as the variety of pop and rock stuff out there,

I thought facespace was a joke made up by Stephen Colbert. Who do they expect to take this shit seriously?

At least Celia's "plot-line,"
is TRYING to integrate itself into whatever the fuck's going on in the rest of the show. This episode felt like two shows in one: The first, a character-driven dramedy, and the other, a sophomoric drug caper. There is no crossover, and this frustrates me. At least the masterplot is

HA. Perfect.

The hater makes me laugh more, these make me cry more and are easier to swallow in smaller increments throughout the week.

Let me add for debate
Elliott Smith's "Needle in The Hay," or was Royal Tenenbaums too soon afterward? I know a lot of people who've only heard of Mr. Smith because of that movie.
