My thing is, who doesn’t know how to drive stick? I learned at age 15, in a 1989 Toyota Celica ST with the 1.6L engine and like 89 hp. Sure I wasn’t great at it, but I mastered the basics in like 10 minutes. Only tricky part was a steep hill, I accidently upshifted from 2nd til 3rd, engine cut out and I stalled it.

Holy fuck balls, can they make the CR-V any less attractive???

Eh my big issue with an EV, if you don’t have a dedicated charger at a home you own, I feel an EV isn’t worth it for alot of people.

Buick has managed to build a car uglier than the Subaru Outback. Holy.

Man I wish gas went back down to 1.59, I got that price paying cash a BP in Laurel, MD earlier this year.

Bring me ALL the torques!

Why not a newer WRX? You can get a last generation with the EJ255 for 16-20k easily, depending on what trim you want. You might be able to find a 2015 CPO for the 25k mark, but that is cutting it close.

Ah cool, I never really got to work on DSM cars growing up. I’ve had my fair share of Wankel rotaries, Subaru EJ motors, Toyota Supra, and RWD Nissans lol.

Wuut DSMs were coil on plug? o_O

For me, 90's is the the golden era of Japanese high performance and sports cars. Unfortunately all manufacturers went soft in the 2000's, especially Toyota. I also love the 90's look of Japanese cars too, mostly they were very unpretentious, very functional.

Ah I liked the B13 Sentras. Too bad they then changed to torsion beam rear suspension...

I 2nd this. I love my 90's Japanese cars.

Eh I was looking at a limited model. Yeah I was looking to spend like 10-12k, maybe get a 4runner with like 120-140k miles on it.

Glutton for punishment my friend!

Yeah I was deciding between a 4th gen R51 Pathfinder and a 4runner. Too many of the radiator issues and dying 5 speed automatics, I think too big of a gamble. I absolutely love the Pathfinder look. It was hard because it is so hard to find a 4runner with the 3rd row, while all Pathfinders had a 3rd row standard and

Haha I love the XJ Cherokee look. Solid axles. Yes I meant to include the XJ too, that is one badass Jeep. My fiance hates Jeeps though :(

Huh that is very interesting, I thought most modern pickups would be at least half way decent on some basic off roading, maybe not crazy Jeep Wrangler rock crawling. Are leaf sprung suspensions worse than a coil spring? Most trucks being solid axles, having a 2 speed transfer case, proper 4WD should be ok? I thought

German engineering at it’s finest.

I live in the DC Metro area. I found this one on Craigslist in VA. The left rear quarter panel is pretty beat up and the front lip is cracked. The driver door has a nasty gash with some surface rust, but the frame rust free. It wasn’t the prettiest 240SX ever. My last ‘95 SE I incidentally also bought from VA, but

Isn’t this era of VW plagued with electrical gremlins? Also just to reference, I got my ‘96 240SX with coilovers, 17" wheels and upgraded control arm package for 3k (stock KA24DE). RWD droootifto machine or.....90's VW wagon.....
