I liked this season overall but I agree. The start was really weak despite some good promise (I think allot more could have been done with the three down in Mexico) and the kids got a repetitive wheel like you said. There was always going to be a limited life span on what storylines karate can propel forward by

It got the fight the right way round unlike Endgame. I stand by that the big 3 vs Thanos should have been after the big brawl.

Final shot of the BP suit I bet is how T’Challa dies, fighting Atlantis.

It had its merits and an interesting premise but I think it suffered from being bloated without focus and the lack of a strong/developed central villain (I get that ‘Umbrella’ was meant to be that but it wasn’t as its an faceless entity). The Science Director was a good potential but they wasted her imho.

I think they

I disagree with some of your points. I think that sort of comment is needed so that it can be openly discussed. It may not be a comment of hate and may well be genuine or a sincere show of solidarity when someone did genuinely dislike the writing/character portrayed for subjective non-race related reasons. People have

Glad someone cares and will enjoy this show!

I’m glad some people find joy in Doctor Who...

Yes, agreed, it also could be that there’s a benefit from a clear storyline that has an end plan and the fact the new big bad is less a nebulous concept (aka Whisperers) or a simple over-stretched supervillain (Negan) and more a well explored set of story tropes.

It’s also kind of like the difference in saying:

Sounded great until they mentioned that the RTS was being made by Civ devs. Civ is a good entry level game for RTS but ultimately compared to Total War or Paradox for example, it’s a pile of turd and i’m dissapointed that there a chance that the first true Star Wars RTS since the likes of Empire at War could be a turn

There are some parrallels but few and Lucas and designers have attributed Vader to other sources and inspiration (namely Japanese for Vader). Any similarities may be due to themes at the time (though there’s 15 years between their debuts) and similar sources (but I am not sure Doom is based on anything Japanese?) I’ve

Don’t recall Vader being based on Marvel villains but rather Japanese characters.

They can’t atm as he’s been established as male in video/motion picture canon via Rebels and as far as I know that follows the core canon. I agree this would have been a cool move, it’s just something they would have needed to do from the start of the new canon

I’d challenge this, though I appreciate your position. There’s more to ‘loving’ (I hate the use of that word here) Star Wars than simply nostalgia... which is yearning for a past time”.

It’s the universe within which it’s based, space wizards and science fiction and it’s also the immense, irreversible impact it has

That’s the MCU in a nutshell though and one of the things I always disliked about it. Yes, it’s fun to not take things too seriously but it’s also important to have pathos and depth, something which it sorely lacks in general. So much of it is paved over with humour or exceptionally bad writing that fits the universe

I got a Southland Tales vibe from this. Big commentary messily delivered. I’ll give it a watch.

I mean it’s cool but Christopher Llyod is not the actor for this imo, he just doesn’t pull it off and comes across more as just an annoyed Doc Brown. I think Steven Ogg would have been better.

Money is present, as one would expect in a vault (but not guarantee). Doesn’t mean they’re there for it...

You’re probably right but i’ve not entirely given up on humanity yet! lol

They could be robbing anything, ergo my post about not assuming it will be gold etc. A vault can contain anything. Could be another thief who has turned? Could be a priceless relic? Could be data on a HD for the cure? Could be a personal item? Could be anything...

Who knows?

I am saying that there is a vault, in which anything could be stored. Data, relics, personal affects etc etc. The person I am referring to assumed it would be cash and commented how that’s ridiculous but i’m politely pointing out we don’t know what they’re stealing.

EG. I am the governor of a new city state
