No problem. There's so much miscommunication that comes with music on ads and such, glad to clarify. And I've been in this world for four years now and still every project induces a headache with it's uniqueness.

That's all dependent on Goldieblox's setup as to whether they produced this in-house or not, so I'm not sure. But regardless, I think they're boneheads for thinking they'd get away with it. Hadn't they already done this same sort of thing with a Queen song, too? I can't remember specifically, but I think they didn't…
It is an incredibly stupid decision, yes, if they wanted to maintain that relationship. Makes the label way less inclined to help you out the next time you come to them with a strapped budget and you want to use an expensive song.
Yeah, that's mostly where I lean, too. And by those standards, utterly successful. But what music fan would want to intentionally piss off the Beastie Boys?!
I work in advertising music. We always ALWAYS reach out regarding parody no matter what. The atmosphere out there is just too litigious and if you get turned down, you write something else. Simple as that. Goldieblox messed up, and between producers/editors/etc. that worked on this, I guarantee someone at some point…
Something to the effect of how he's really "killing" it on there with a hint in his voice.
The National would give their old man nuts if they could make a record HALF as lasting as Turn On The Bright Lights.
It's Fallon without the…uh…talent?
No. I saw him do an impromptu stand-up set a few weeks ago (it was a small show and he had literally arrived the second he was supposed to go on) and he was really great. Effortless. Reminded me of that friend you know that is just great at stories. If SNL isn't his place, I hope he finds work elsewhere. Seems like a…
Kinda weird that Cristin Milioti is barely older than Lyndsy Fonseca (the daughter).
It does. But it feels like one of those things where we have to go see it to support him, kinda like having to see one of your good friend's shitty band on a Friday night downtown in a crappy bar.
That's a great solution. Thank you. Sucks we have to find our own ways.
There's a difference in showing there's a wedding and then actually telling you what's happening. I think it's different.
This is my first time commenting on these reviews, so forgive me if this has already been covered. Why, WHY, does NBC spoil the results on their streaming site? I want to login to watch say, Snowboard Cross, but before I can even click the replay button, they've told me who has already won. Would they spoil a Parks &…
Had no clue John Mayer got the Trio back together. That is great news.
Pete Holmes!
True. Also, I know no one would have that photo you have as your avatar. Look forward to seeing you compete tonight. Good luck to your past self.
If that's really you, congrats. One of the highest one-day totals I've seen in a long time.
Unofficial cutoff for an audition is apparently 35 correct answers. I sure as hell didn't make it.
PULL SHAPES!
