Given he's a streamer he's no doubt been making money in all those hours spent with this game. Seems like that makes those hours more fulfilling and more productive than any gaming you've done in the last five years.

Jason Isbell writes 10 perfect country songs a year, wins Grammys and sells out weeks on end at the Ryman, and apparently that’s not “country” either.

I’m starting to feel like we’re getting to a point where nothing is allowed. I mean, the context here, for example. She isn’t making fun of black people in any way. She’s trying to remain true to the character, who happens to be black. It would be one thing if she had done something deliberately offensive, but she’s

Except you are wrong about the theater analogy. You can cry “fire” in a crowded theater, there are consequences but you can do it. All speech is permissible, yet there are consequences for certain types as there should be.

Seriously, I am both pro-laws and anti-fascism. Yet, oddly, I don’t believe I’m either “antifa” nor “rule of law”. Imagine that.

I hope people here realize how black-clad protesters are eroding all of our ability to get Grandma and Crazy Uncle Bob to see Nazis are the actual bad guys.

I’m glad my WW2 vet grandfather isn’t around to see a country where people say being anti-fascist is a bad thing.

Congrats to everyone involved in this for being fucking terrible people. (Not including Geneva)

This is a fantastically comprehensive list, which makes the omission of Death Grips - Year of the Snitch and Parquet Courts - Wide Awake slightly confusing. The former may have only come out last Friday (as did Kamasi’s album) but it really is a stellar, mind-bending piece of work, whilst the Courts’ album is another

Kanye went one for five? Come on now, Kids See Ghost is the best thing he’s put out since Yeezus. It’s fantastic. Nasir is also already a modern “le underrated gem”, the production is insanely good and his lyrics are fire. Teyana Taylor’s is ok, and ironically, I think Kanye’s own “Ye” is pretty easily the worst of

1. Pusha T - Daytona

Missing from the list:

Came here for John Prine’s Tree of Forgiveness.  Left.

No other fans of A$AP Rocky’s Testing? “Calldrops” makes me cry, and the mood of the album is unexpected and exciting.

Albums I Like Not On This List So Obviously You Are All Idiots:

just interesting that people will praise DAYTONA shamelessly while writing off ye and KSG due to Kanye rapping all over them. do they only remember his stupid politics when hearing his voice or something? I feel like if we’re gonna praise DAYTONA let’s acknowledge that his role in creating that is equal to what he did

yeah, that instead of Kids See Ghosts? huh.

I’m a bit surprised Everything Is Love made it on here, feels like that album kinda faceplanted. Didn’t feel like anyone was enthusiastic about it, and it definitely came and went.

Every time I hear “Everything Is Love” I can’t shake the feeling that Jay-Z is making fun of his audience. Some of the sounds he makes are strait up comical.

You’re missing Ionnalee’s “Everyone Afraid To Be Forgotten” which hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention, Ghost’s “Prequelle” which wins a spot on the strength of ‘Danse Macabre’ alone, and Ministry’s “Amerikkant”which is probably the best thing Al Jourgensen has done since the turn of the century.

I’m with you on Neko
