Yeah, my opening comment proves that slightly inebriated me shouldn't be allowed to read the AV Club.

What's your advice for when you know you have a problem but don't know what it is or are too contradictory of yourself to ever get down to what the basic problem is?
Oh you're absolutely right, I misspoke. I'll definitely give it a shot once the season's over, it's just that the reviews this season's been getting make me a little more hesitant.
I'm definitely a bigger fan of season one, which happens to be where my username comes from. ("I AM NOT A SEXUAL LEMON," screams Austin.)
How does/did everyone else meet people to romance? I've been wanting to get myself out there for a little while, but I don't have much of an idea of where to start. I'm in university, so that probably helps, but I still don't know where to start there.
I was on a first date with this girl once, and she said repeatedly, to my face, that gingers are not attractive and that they're weird and pale. I leaned into it and made jokes about it, but it still sucked.
Where are you registered, if I may ask?
No, unfortunately not. Well, unfortunately for me. Apparently there were a number of potential donors and because I have allergies and there's a very slim chance those allergies could transfer, I got cut from that list. My case manager said that that would be the only reason I'd get rejected, if there were other…
I'm working on it! I'll take any suggestions.
One of my favourite songs. The "we could do much more together" part of the song never fails to bring me joy.
If the trailer's any indication, it's going to be about rebelling against the Overlords, which really wasn't in the novel. It's a piece that would need a light touch and I don't know that SyFy are capable of that.
Nope, nothing unusual about the power dynamic and I know to keep things to myself. I'll certainly go the casual route and don't worry, I'll report back.
Hey guys. This is my first time commenting here after lurking for a very long time. Anyways:
Hearing "Rivers and Roads" gave me chills.
Guy 1: "Let's not hype ourselves too hi-"
Wait. So you're saying he talked U2 to you, too?
The images of the story of the clone and of the animatronic figure are pretty much lifted directly from the book.
I'm the same way. I had the book, more or less forgotten, on a shelf the past year or so, but after watching It's Such a Beautiful Day and The World of Tomorrow recently, it's not going to accumulate much dust anymore.
A lot of the ideas he uses in this short came from a book he made a couple years back called The End of the World which I highly recommend. It's basically a twisted, funny picture book for adults.
I'm expecting It's Such A Beautiful Day on here if they'll count it, given that two out of the three parts were released in the previous decade, but I'm hopeful.
