My SUV ran over your honor school student.

Problem is that this strategy can also go wrong. IF Tesla truly succeeds, it would be too late for some competitors to catch up. I mean, Tesla is already way ahead for some competitors in terms of battery tech and such a lead may be too much to overcome.

This would be superb.  BMW pull a reverse Supra and sell us an i3 that’s based on a Prius.  Imagine the outrage on the internet.

but just an electrified version of the 3 and 4 Series underpinnings. That’s not because it’s the most competitive or flexible option, it’s because BMW doesn’t want to invest in a truly electric architecture.

Yeah, the ‘blue lives matter’ stickers are usually found on bro-dozers, next to punisher sticker and a few others (likely unaware of the irony of those two stickers together).

they are illegal if the lift kit raises the level of the headlights, and modifying a vehicle to roll coal (and they do have to be modified to do that) is a violation of the federal clean air act, meaning it is not legal anywhere in the country.

And the i3 is ass ugly.

My lease for my i3 ends in Feb, and I’m 100% sure I’m getting a Tesla. The only real competitor might have been the VW ID3, but we are not getting it here, cause we suck. And even if it was here the feature differences might not be worth it for the few $ difference.

Another big failure, is their BMW Connected app just stopped working these past few months.

Fuel economy is a UN plot to take our freedom.

Hey, If I could actually make real, ground breaking, financial predictions I’d be on my yacht that pooped out smaller yachts in the Maldives.

The only person who can stop a bad guy in an SUV is a good guy in an SUV.

It doesn’t matter how many electrical faults, how many times they leak coolant on the track, or how many times they have to replace the MAF sensor or cats... you’ll never deter a Bimmerphile. Every marque has their cultists.

Thank you. I’ve thought this for a while. The i3?! This is like bringing a knife to a gunfight. I see an i3 and I see:

A big lifted truck is not getting converted back to stock. Once you pass about a 4 inch lift (so not talking about leveling kits, but instead the 6-12 inch lifts normally associated with bro trucks), the points at which a lift kit gets attached are not the same as the factory parts, and it often requires cutting out

Stand your ground clearance.

Have you heard of the Polaroid company?

If SUVs are outlawed, then only outlaws will have SUVs.

Proper SUV or truck can also easily absorb poorly maintained roads. Pothole that could damage a Honda Civic rim has no effect on Suv/truck 17" rim with decent rubber sidewall.

For the life of me, I still don’t understand why lifted bro trucks are still street-legal. California is cracking down on all sorts of stuff (noise, emissions, a harmless check engine light, illegally imported small cars that bother absolutely no one, etc). Hell, even my E-85 converted Saab is technically illegal
