I was stuck at work overnight Friday night, so I finished up season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender and started season 3 while "working". I'm normally not an anime guy, and I know this is American in origin and may not be authentic to the purists, but damn I love this show.  Does anyone who has watched this know if

It worked so well in that episode where Eric killed her cat.

Would you mind taking out Kristen Stewart with that cursed, um, tubesteak?

I was 13 when the black album came out, and as such it somewhat appealed to me, as in I thought it was awesome to finally see "real" metal on MTV in regular rotation. It probably took me another year to realize what a piece of shit that album is.

This implies that Chuck Norris listens to Avenged Sevenfold.  Maybe he does, what do I know?

SUNY Albany grad myself.

Yeah, I consider them a hardcore band.  I kind of hate the term metalcore.  Either you're a hardcore band with metal influences, and you play hardcore shows, or you're a metal band that is all about breakdowns and no guitar solos, and you play the metal scene.

What about that one with Howie Mandell where strippers have briefcases full of random amounts of money?  Do they still make that one?

I'm not competing with a PHD.

How can anyone top this?  I can tell you all about my trip to Carlsbad Caverns, but really, who would care after your use of J&B?

Yeah, I usually call in sick to work on my birthday, because fuck that noise.

I like those Scandinavian motherfuckers, like the o with a slash through it.

I usually wait for the monthly "What Are You Reading?" article, but what the hell.  I'm about a quarter into A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century by Barbara W. Tuchman, which I'm finding fascinating due to my recent medieval kick.  I also just started House of Leaves, but haven't made much progress yet as I'm

Houstonian checking in, down for beer.

Yeah, I know, but the forum structure is there for the taking, kind of.

Suburban Commando 2.

Why not.

As a SUNY alum, what's college football?

Are you my father?  Because that's his joke.
