They could’ve brought the Tysha story in the “previously on”-section before the title music. Just like all the other times they wanted audiences to remember previous scenes and plot points because they’d be relevant for the current episode. So I call bulls**t on that line of reasoning.

Season 5 was what soured the series for me. After that, there were still moments I enjoyed, but overall I became rather cynical about everything on screen.

I can’t find Supergirl on this list? Is she cancelled or just delayed?

My husband is currently going for the Wham-era look of George Michael.

Schadenfreude?

It’s not “just” the fast-travel bit; it’s that “more time passed” doesn’t add up to other things than travelling. By that metric, Cersei should’ve given birth to her baby months ago, but she still is barely even showing by the series’ finale. Also, why is Baby Sam still a toddler?

They are still hugging on the show? In the German version, they even extended the jury table to make them sit further apart this week. There hasn’t been a live audience since last week (they use applause from the first show of this season, when that was still allowed), and everybody keeps a short distance from each

Thanks for writing “martial law” correctly, because I’ve been wondering what the hell Evangeline Lilly was talking about! The only government programm named “Marshall” I remember from history was the Marshall Plan, which was a financial stimulus to Western European countries* after WWII, and I didn’t understand why

While I agree with several of your points, I have to disagree that Biden would have a bigger chance against Trump than Sanders. In the past few elections, it has never been the centrist candidate who won the presidential election. Also, even moderate Republicans might be willing to close ranks - party over people,

She’s no longer running, so as far as I’m concerned, she can have her cake and eat it, too: enjoying SNL just for the heck of it, while still being a noticeable person of interest for the political sphere (I really wonder whether Bernie and Biden are trying to woo her for her endorsement).

Don’t count on it. I’ve read a conversation of one Bernie Bro on Facebook where he was “graciously” forgiving Warren and telling her and her supporters that they would let her in if she’s being nice now.

I mean, after A New Hope we also never saw Han or Luke running around or nostalgically glancing at their medals. So they really didn’t matter, or at least their physical existence didn’t matter to the characters (I’m sure they had fond memories of the ceremony).

Didn’t he already say he planned on having a female VP? Or am I confusing him with another candiate?

To me, the wig seemed to be more a homage to the sleazy business!Trump of the 1980's.

That would be awesome. But if she had still been alive in this version, then this version of Deathstroke wouldn’t have had a reason to make Oliver choose between his mother and sister.

The actor said that he was harrassed for betraying Han.

And she still got 3 million more votes than him.

That’s how I feel about Star Wars Fandom. It’s something I stay away from online and only engage with with my friends and family (and yes, there may be differing opinions, but unlike with strangers online, it’s a respectful disagreement).

I’m wondering how that will look like. I’m afraid there will be more streaming monopolies, e.g. Disney+, and maybe Netflix can still survive, what with being the first big service. It might make things easier, but it’s also somewhat limiting the choices for consumers.
