Can’t edit my original post, but I must make a small correction: The wall wasn’t named anti-capitalist, but anti-fascist: The Anti-Fascist Protective Barrier (“Antifaschistischer Schutzwall”).

The Berlin Wall was originally built to keep people from East Berlin and East Germany from entering West Berlin. Reasons: a) many people worked in West Berlin with better wages but lived in East Berlin with lower prices for rent etc., and b) the fact that many people were fleeing into the West did some serious damage…
Beck also implies that Soros is a household name all over the world.
Will Ivana be there, too?
The Autobahn already has speed limits around towns as well as for safety reasons, e.g. when the Autobahn is too curvy to go full speed. The city state of Bremen already has a general speed limit.
There’s a bigger threat now, and that’s the AfD, which tries to make people believe it’s really just a conservative party concerned with the safety of Germans, be they threatened by muslims, refugees, immigrants, muslims, the left, or even muslims... /s
To answer your first question: Switzerland is a grassroots democracy, the people get to vote on practically anything, both on a national and a local level. I guess the naturalization of one of their local citizens is up to the vote of the community as well.
In the book the “end” only lasts a week or two.

Either it was Seehofer or another top guy from the CSU who said that there never should be another party further right than the CSU. If I were generous, I’d say this is supposed to mean that they would never accept the existence of a radical fascist party. However, I’m mostly not so generous :/
There are several wars, people leave, and lo and behold, some actually make it to Europe. And now they are here and no longer there we actually have to deal with them and *gasp* care for them! This is too much otherness for some to handle, so the Other needs to be vilified. Also, giving help to refugees means that…
I’m pretty sure they’ll enter the Bundestag in the next election; the only question remains is by how many percent. And it doesn’t help when parts of the CDU/CSU (mostly the latter, it seems) tries to court AfD voters by adopting some of their radical points of view.
Neo Stalinists?
Because there can only be one, apparently.
“The Wall was inside of us all along!”
The White House is unfortunately missing his name on it; and the interior is shockinly lacking in golden furniture.
