Don’t buy a high-mileage RENTAL car that the company is selling off due to “high repair costs” (you’ve lost out on the first 80,000 miles of reliability) and “frequent damage” (which probably means the cheapest ones are likely the ones that have been damaged) if you’re trying to save money. Please.

A good friend once described it as ‘going to confession’ because whilst they care if you exhibit poor judgement regularly, they REALLY care if you can be blackmailed for it.

100% agreed. There is a time and place for these things, and at work and/or piloting a piece of heavy machinery are neither.

Should many of these drugs be legalised federally? Yes, undoubtedly. Should the wealthy have to live by the same rules as the rest of us? Even moreso.

Probably hurt the MG’s chances, though I have my doubts about that Chrysler getting her there.

I assume the trunk was also useful for storing the machete.

I’ve spent years trying to square the circle that is Karen (a.k.a. Kitty) selling her MG for a white Chrysler LeBaron. Why?

This is something I’ve noticed happening a lot in the airhead scene: many long-standing, specialist companies have folded or sold off their stock for consolidation. I was down in Norcross, GA a couple years ago and popped by Blue Moon Cycles just after they’d gotten rid of all their old bike parts (sold to Max BMW).

Love it! Also, I love the red smoke paint scheme. Didn’t realise the Commando mufflers fit.

I have an R100RS that a prior owner made look like an S. I’ve further refined that so it’s more complete (he made some questionable choices and I’ve remedied shortcuts).

I should check the valve clearances on my airhead...

I’ve picked up some fun vehicles over the last couple of years, and they’re all in pretty good shape now after a fair amount of work, so my resolutions are:

The FA24 has only been in the WRX since 2022, and I sure hope it’s a stronger engine with better longevity than the pile of shit that is the FA20. Having gone through two of them (one stock) I have the receipts. Hell, I still have the bent conrods and cracked pistons sitting in my garage as mementos mori.

The FA series have an unfortunate incompatibility with both more boost and the g forces involved with going fast around a track. They finally got the EJ series in pretty good shape, too.

Thanks, Chuck.

I would pull over, reach over to open my passenger door, and tell my passenger that they were walking the rest of the way. That’s not ok.

Yeah, that’s fair: I should have probably looked where it was in WI.

Yes we should obviously entirely give up because nothing is going to change and nothing will ever get better.

I wish we had more available public transportation infrastructure so there would have been no question of quickly and irrevocably rescinding his licence. This is just tragic.
