Thank you!

At my prior place of employment, there were solar panels covering the parking lot. Not only did it generate its own electricity for the lights in the parking area and provide shade for the hot summer days, but it also significantly offset the electric car chargers. It was a good idea then, and I’m glad it’s getting

There’s a 911 and a 1978 BMW R100RS in my garage. I keep looking at other classic BMW motorcycles to buy and fix up. I had a WRX, but went through two engines and a drivetrain over the course of my eight-year ownership. Some of that was shoddy work by a ‘reputable’ shop, though.

Honestly, if the body and frame are in good condition, I’d go with a nice price on this example. $60k is a lot, and there will likely be tens of thousands more to do in the next years, but if you have the money and want a mild project, you could go a lot worse than this lovely E Type.

We all have our engine-layout foibles. I have an unhealthy, verging-on-masochistic love of boxer engines.

986 Boxster in good nick would be a good choice.

It’s lovely. If I were in need of a car right this second I would buy it. That guy with the stupid loan on his Charger from the article yesterday should sell that and buy this.

Sounds like someone high up in the Australian constabulary is a shitty parker.

I’m ready to have my heart broken: NP.

I don’t disagree that the simple ways are still the common ones, but many of the thefts I’ve heard of in my area recently have been using relay attacks with a repeater between a fob and the car.

This, I’ve had a number of passengers get very confused when they pull the handle in my car once. It’s not ridiculous to describe someone as “trapped” when the method of opening the door isn’t obvious or common.

This is such a cool record, and I love seeing news from the ETH.

A way, way better place to play. Just make certain it’s not one full of hidden wheel stops to destroy your fun and your ride.

I have a similar story from my stupid youth of trying an e-brake turn and managed to spin out my Legacy. Ended up fine: no one else was around to get hit or to hit me and I got a good lesson in not doing that sort of stupid crap that wasn’t at the cost of anything but my pride.

Difficulty also scales with number of player characters, and hoo boy that’s rough.

Winning hearts and minds, there.

I miss VW’s old tongue-in-cheek advertising.

Any CUV with “Sport” on its badge. You heard me, Ford Edge; what sport are you built for?

Is a nuclear test site that shut 65 years ago, and has been pointed to as a failure of American environmental policy, really meant to be a ‘gotcha’ here?
