I don’t know that there’s a particular car that I’ve always wanted to ‘restore’, but I’ve always wanted an air-cooled 911 Turbo. I have an unfortunate love of boxer engines, and driving the RR configuration is unlike anything else on the road. I think it’d be fun to bring one back to life.

My ‘85 Px150E had been sitting in my neighbour’s garage, non-running and mouldering, for over a decade when he gave it to me. They are honesty dead-easy to get running well. (The elestart is definitely nice to have, but the autolube is seriously a godsend).
