Dark City should collect royalties from The Matrix for all the scenes they copied. Hellraiser, The Lighthouse, Jacob’s Ladder, The Mist, Night of the Living Dead (personal fav), Carnival of Souls, The Road and Annihilation are all super good rainy, weekend afternoon movies to watch.

While I agree with you that rocking has not been a necessary requirement to date, Dolly wields huge influence, and perhaps she is of a similar view that it should be.

This is as plausible as anything. She’s so courteous and deferential that it’s easy not to notice that her objection doesn’t really make sense. “Rocking” hasn’t been a requirement for the Hall of Fame in decades, she has, objectively, sold millions more records than several other nominees, and what vote is she worried…
