Friend of mine has been “angry” at Sony for years now for reasons and mentions this same thing, thinking it’ll be a “misstep” by the brand that will cause problems with third party devs. Also he is just super grumpy, so I hope he’s wrong as well. 

Feeling your pain on the “going home thing” as my family and I contemplate. Potentially the first holidays without them to make sure they’re okay and then I read about things like this or the parties that go down and it just makes me feel great.
