You do realize her “non-real” job is likely to generate revenue a few orders of magnitude greater than your “real” job generates in that same amount of time? And if that’s not the case and a few weeks of your work are likely to generate possibly eternal revenue for your company, aren’t you getting underpaid?

Oh sure, a multi-headlight setup could work as long as the general shape is square/rectangular. Better yet if they went with off-the-shelf sealed beams, the feature I envy the most about old American cars.

Oh wow, thanks for the correction, I was under the impression INEOS had lost that case and had to make changes to the design. Seems like a product of my imagination, never mind.

Not very rare yet here in Portugal, thankfully. There’s at least 5 other daily driven ones in my hometown alone, and a few garage queens. And there’s a very large online community, I’d put the number of registered, road-worthy ones in the upper three digits, maybe lower four digits. Renault 4 meetings often bring

I daily drive a Renault 4, imagine that empty cardboard box is scaled down to about 60% in size but it’s really narrow for how tall it is :) I have a blast driving it at high speed though, can’t lie about that.

I... almost really like it? The quadruple round headlights kinda ruin it for me, but I love pretty much everything else. I’m a sucker for asymmetric fascias and flat body panels with lots of 90º angles, so this thing is almost perfect for me. I don’t think they’d get away with the best-looking option - single round

It’s an off-roader, aerodynamics isn’t that important for its main purpose, and if people end up using this to go flat out on the highway, it’s only fair that the battery drains as fast as possible. A bad drag coefficient is a great incentive for drivers to be responsible behind the wheel of this behemoth.

I don’t know, wouldn’t countries like China or India add noise to this data by just acting as favourable comparisons to the USA - a very low bar to clear, and a really cherry-picked one since the USA really aren’t looking at India or China to set the standards for this, or anything else (not openly, anyway)? If

At some point leading up to the 2020 election, during primary season, I sort of hoped Warren and Sanders would come to an agreement for a two-term superticket with Sanders for president and Warren for vice in 2020, with the pre-established agreement that they’d switch in 2024, and a commitment to working as a team in

This absolute turd, but even worse because it had body-coloured bumpers.

Yup, I can’t really think of the name Mastodon and not immediately think of the band. And I’m not even a metal fan.

Ribbed plastic cladding, you say?

The RX-8 concept isn’t that different from the final production car. It’s the RX-Evolv that’s truly different, and maybe a much better example for this slideshow in particular.

Well, it probably did inspire some modern Lamborghini designs, but not as directly as you suggest: the Stratos Zero design was only slightly modified by Bertone for the original Countach concept. I think it’s more likely that any details in modern designs seemingly inspired by the Stratos Zero were probably taking

This right here. His ratings are fine and his international reach via youtube and social media is through the roof. He also really helped bring in a younger audience who Stewart would have never reached. I’d put money on Comedy Central not being very happy that he’s leaving.

His cast was more limited in numbers, but in a way I liked that more than the revolving door of correspondents in the final few years of Stewart’s tenure. I really like Dulcé Sloan, Roy Wood Jr. and Desi Lydic, and some of “his” former correspondents, like Jordan Klepper or Michelle Wolf, are amongst my favourite ever.

Many American comedians mentioned that struggle during the Trump years; a lot of the time they were making jokes about such sad/infuriating/batshit insane stuff that it just started affecting them psychologically.

I’ve been watching since the early days of Jon Stweart’s tenure and I loved Trevor Noah since day one. I do think he’s only gotten better since, but I couldn’t agree less that he was never particularly good at his job - the show only got better the more creative liberty he got. And he was the first to nail the

You don’t think doing a TV show that airs almost daily, and spending the rest of the time in between flights to do stand-up somewhere is mentally exhausting? He was already famous and successful before he hit the jackpot (which happened because he’d been working that hard for a long time and is that good in his craft;

iOS has had a notes app since forever and you can use a shared folder that allows you to access your notes via iCloud in any machine, anywhere where there’s an internet connection. But to me, the best tool for what the article suggests is email, by far. I have been emailing myself stuff and using the subject as “tag”
