Security is often clueless about a lot of stuff, no matter how big the event is. I used to work in music festivals, both small and large, and in some capacities that meant having to deal with security (that I outranked). At a specific festival I’ve had to embarrass the head of security in front of all his subordinates

Honest question: is hydrogen propulsion just hype and absolutely not viable? Because if there’s at least a chance that it will become viable I think it’s good that some large companies are doing research and seem to be serious about it.

That’s very likely, yeah. And it checks out, the carb tend to act up more while idling/in city traffic than when I’m doing longer trips. Although little bit of exhaust shouldn’t be a problem for that carb, since it comes with a removable hose connecting the exhaust pipe to the air filter to help with cold starts under

Haha my Quatrelle made it to the list :) to be clear, while it all sounds a bit not great, it’s actually mostly fine. I save quite a bit on minor stuff that I can do myself: if I need to change a light bulb in my other car the whole bumper, headlight and indicator have to come out, no matter which bulb went out, and

1991 Renault 4 (daily driver):

I never cared much for the Aixam-Mega Track, but for some reason I always loved the Citroën AX-based Club/Ranch.

Late to the party, I know, but this would've been my suggestion.

And yet, when it comes to releasing an electric Motocompo they get beaten to the punch by some Indonesian company, both in release date and design.

I’m sorry, but this does not boil down to fear of needles. I have a crippling fear of needles and happily got my two Pfizer jabs last year and a booster just recently (and was really annoyed that I had to delay my booster because my daughter was infected and I had to isolate with her). Every single time I was sweating

Update: it sank.

From context I would guess Conrod, since it’s the longest, and Mountain is right after Pit so it doesn’t make much sense to call it the “back” straight.

Yeah, it does feel strange, and it would be very on brand if Kinja was Kinjing at the worst possible time, to be fair. I mean that it’s not a great look if it turns out that the posts were in fact censored. If it was some platform malfunction that’s different of course.

I think the “car dealer gives you a bunch of money” line was maybe a little disrespectful and unnecessary, but other than that I don’t see what the fuss is about either. The whole “X is leaving? That’s it, I’m leaving too” is cringey AF. This is not an airport, yada yada.

I will keep reading Jalopnik even if my favourite writers keep leaving the website, always happy to give new talent a chance. But I will absolutely not stick around for this kind of clickbait. This is not directed at you Lawrence, or any other writers/editors. But the suits should know they’re outright destroying this

oh man.

I don’t blame you, we live in crazy times and it often feels like theres this impending doom. It’s only smart to save up.

Yeah, cost of life in the US seems to be absurd. 80k would be a very good salary in my little corner of the EU (that would be €70K/14 months where I live, so €5000/month, which is about the same as what our President makes). It’s insane that that’s not enough to save up for a nice old car.

It’s really sad because this trend of skyrocketing prices doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon (if ever). I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that I will probably never own most of my dream cars, and I don’t even have any supercars in my list (maybe a couple of luxury cars, but it’s like a 70s Rolls-Royce

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I’d choose the Clio V6 phase 1 over the phase 2 if I was in a position to choose. I wouldn’t even spend any time deciding. Those extra 30hp don’t make up for the fact that this one looks so much better.

Yeah, people don’t usually take the time to think about the fact that, unlike the R5 Turbo and Turbo 2, the Clio V6 wasn’t really necessary and yet they made it happen. It’s so absurd, I love it! I’m more of a fan of old Renaults (and I’m old enough that even the Clio I feels modern) but the Clio V6 will always be one
