I absolutely will not give you shit and I’ll raise you: as someone who’s never driven an auto, I’m kinda terrified that I ever have to do it in an emergency, because I will not know how to do it. It has crossed my mind that I should ask someone to give me practical lessons on how to operate an automatic.

Came here to remember which game I remembered the Panoz Roadster from. Thanks. I was thinking it was one of the late 90s Test Drive games.

Shit, that’s terrifying actually. The numbers in that study are staggering, 52% of severe case survivors died within a year of surviving Covid. I want to make jokes about Trump’s life expectancy but this is pretty alarming.

Haha we do still have some cool old cars on the road. In the course of that same trip I also pass by a restaurant that has a Datsun pickup and two Quatrelles in the most prominent spots in the parking lot, all restored to concours condition and painted in bright yellow to match the restaurant logo, and a few km later

I pass a fully preserved/restored 4CV - nicknamed Renault “Joaninha”, which means ladybug where I’m from - twice a week, halfway through a nearly 100km trip in my ‘91 Renault 4. Next to the 4CV there’s an equally well preserved Citroën Ami (I think it’s an Ami 6, but I never stopped to confirm). Next time I’ll stop to

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying he won’t make it to 2024, just saying that there’s a certain degree of statistical probability.

His supporters seem to be doing all they can to remove themselves from voter lists (and the gene pool) before 2024 comes, so as much as you guys should definitely take care of your democracy and get that fucking criminal and his cronies in jail, I think there’s a chance that even if he continues to get away with

Just to be clear, I only mean model names, nothing wrong with the name Ssangyong for me. But I didn’t know what it meant, that’s a kickass name.

I’m ok with Ssangyong, I mean just their astoundingly ridiculous car names.

Exactly.

I have to take issue with the Quattroporte making it to this list. It’s a comically awesome name.

Absolutely off topic, but this right here:

While we can all unequivocally agree that the answer is a Ssangyong, how do we decide which one is the dumbest of the dumbest? Korando, Musso, Rexton, Actyon, Rodius/Stavic, Kyron, Istana, Kallista. I mean, c’mon. How do you pick one over the others?

I managed to get all the way to the end of the article without realising this wasn’t sarcasm. I don’t even know why I googled it, probably felt stupid doing it. And yet, here we are. That is in fact the name of a car. What a time to be alive.

I’m sad and I don’t have many words so here’s some of my favourite Williams F1 cars.

Yeah, I don’t think people bidding on this one are looking at high-mileage Testarossas :) The thing is, like you say, there are good condition Testarossas out there without the pedigree going for nearly as much as their estimate. I wouldn’t be surprised if two super rich, die-hard Elton John fans going through a rich

The market is so crazy these days, I don’t even know anymore: isn’t $250K kind of a bargain for this specific car? Owned by a music legend, gifted to him by his label on his 40th birthday... Feels like there could be a few multi-millionaire fans driving up the auction well beyond that.

Really? I don’t remember ever seeing a EU-spec dustbuster. In my domestic market this was the first (and only) generation. But it’s a very small domestic market, it’s possible that Portugal only got it after an initial run when other countries were selling dustbusters. These went on sale 2-3 years before the facelift.

I love these in EU-spec. I remember being blown away by its avant-garde design. Later it became a bit more confusing, because they went with the Pontiac branding but it’s a rebadged Oldsmobile. And I’m like, thanks, the Olds looks much better, but why didnt’t they just sell it as an Olds? It’s not like Pontiac had

Nah, thanks, I’m good. And there’s no option for my shift pattern anyway.
