i like your Dickens comparison. i always think of ADS4 as the Lost of TV comedies - ambitious in scope beyond it's means, flawed and paced poorly, but some of the best television of all time placed right next to some of the worst.

dunst is super underrated. her performance in lars von trier's melencholia is astounding, she plays a very different kind of mentally ill than she does here, but she's wonderful there. as soon as i saw the first episode this season i was so excited to see where she ended up.
