I maintain that Sunshine’s Watermelon level is the worst and I have no idea why it was included in the trailer, as if it was a riveting moment in the game.

On one hand, there’s nothing new about an online game having issues at launch. On the other, you’d think we’d be able to figure this problem out after so many similar botched incidents. 

Steam reviews are a goldmine for this game.

Special mention should go to the Dead Space HUD which wasn’t even a HUD at all. So cool, but not many games try to emulate that.

Am I the only one thinks that orcs, drow, and tieflings were always cooler races because of the their morally ambiguous backgrounds? I mean, the “good” races just sound too “neat” and lame. I figure this is the reason why in WoW the Horde far outnumber the Alliance.

Here’s the thing. Melee is a good game to play casually. It’s really neat. Competitively, it’s miserable. You have to break the game and your fingers to compete at a competent level. And most of the people who want this aren’t casually playing this.

It’s Star Wars all over again. Taking a beloved story and taking it into a direction that rocks the boat, of course there would be fan backlash. Anyone could have seen this happen, even without leaks. People loved and got invested into the story of the first game, and the sequel isn’t “more of the first game” at all.
