I can't say for sure, but since Microsoft owns Skype, I think they really want that service to 'hit it big' on Xbox. Without Kinect, Skype would be useless on that box.

"This just in, obscene drawings found in local boy's bathroom stall. Are the youth being corrupted?"

It's supposed to be a national anthem. Not a 'flag anthem'. Or a 'soldier anthem'. 'The Star Spangled Banner' has way too narrow of a scope to be considered an all encompassing theme for America, and there's a lot more to America than 'battles and hardships'.

If the criteria of an anthem is to be old, then the first song ever created about America ought to be the anthem then. Not 'The Star Spangled Banner'.

Because the first thing you think of when hear of America is war? No no no. America thematically isn't about war and an anthem shouldn't be based around that. Look at the lyrics to 'God Bless America' and you can see how things can be inspiring without resorting to painful images.

Technically, the anthem isn't that old. So these 'dead' people might still be alive.

Before you talk about disrespect, how about you really look at the context of our national anthem. It kinda doesn't make sense as a good 'national anthem'. 'America the Beautiful' and 'God Bless America' do better jobs thematically.

Here's a question. Why is the national anthem 'The Star Spangled Banner'? A national anthem is supposed to represent its country, but if you really look at the lyrics, it's a bit of a misnomer. 'America the Beautiful' or 'God Bless America' are better fits in terms of setting up what America is supposed to be. I think

Does this count as one of Xbox One's 'new IP's'. If so... wow...

Says the guy with the Nisemonogatari avatar. There's some irony there.

On a side note, who uses their 3DS with 3D on? I've only found a couple of games I'd want to play with 3D on, but for the most part, it's off.

Is this really that offensive? I vaguely remember something similar happening in Borderlands 2 where a certain character was regarded as 'racist', but the majority of people didn't see it that way.

16 million does seem like an optimistic number. I get the feeling that Sony might do something different with pricing structure. What if they sell the box for $99 and do a subscription model for $10/mo? I'm not saying they will, but they probably have a plan on getting a lot of PS4s out there.

Oddly, birth rates are actually declining in Japan I believe.

Underrepresented? Looking at the event, most of the guys didn't want to be represented either. Everyone onstage seemed so uncomfortable and fake. It wouldn't surprise me if women opted out and let those guys be forced to put on a song and dance.
