At this point, I guess I gotta tap out from Blizz’s games. It’s really unfortunate, because I love their stuff. I shrugged off the Hong Kong protest response with “No ethical consumption etc.” and “I’m just one person, so I guess whatever.” But at this point, it’s just like. What are you doing?

Sucks, because after a

Unionize, strike, unite, make it industry standards of working so none of this power of abuse happens and the workers can organize and fight back again sexual assault and death from their shackles of oppression.

Blizzard is building up a track record for abusing human rights.

I unsubscribed from my WoW account, and will not be paying anything for WoW or Hearthstone going forward. My wife is doing the same, and we are vocal to our friends about it.

I seem to recall that as well (though as with a lot of equipment matters, both the actual law or regulation and the culture in which it was enforced or ignored probably varied from state to state). Used to be that if your tires stuck out beyond factory provisions you had to install fender flares to cover them.

Penalties for moving violations should be proportional to vehicle weight. You need 4000+ lbs of truck to soothe your insecurities? Fine, you better be really really careful with that. There should also be a fat tax.

where one executive issues an impassioned selfishly motivated plea for marketplace reform more profits for EPIC, which is beholding to Apple to get onto an app store so they can bleed kids’ parents for money on questionable products that are called gambling in countries outside of the USA, fine-tuned to exploit

I couldn’t give less of a shit what the law says. If I find a device on my car, and I don’t know what it is, and don’t know where it came from, and don’t want it on my car, I’m removing it and throwing it in the trash.

I’ve read everything he’s ever written, a lot of it a several times, and I still haven’t figured that out. But maybe I’m just a moron...

He abused authority, he shouldn’t be given a position of authority again. The fact that you’re pretending this is a really complex or confusing idea says a lot about YOU.

Maybe you should take it in for a tune up...

Are they looking to limit naked shorts like this in the future

Nothing says White People in Power like changing all the rules the moment anyone not like them starts having success.

I keep seeing people say “Games X, Y, and Z weren’t pulled, and they were bad too! what bullcrap!” and that is just plainly missing the point.

Every single one of the titles brought up in that fashion were games that SHOULD HAVE been pulled. As a whole, we need to stop accepting the “they’ll patch it later” mentality

I don’t think expecting something to work the way it should on the day you buy it is ‘entitled’ in the largely incorrect meaning of the word people use those days. In fact I would say, correctly, that when you buy something you’re proper entitled to it working as advertised.

Maybe they should have pulled those games. Maybe if these digital storefronts stop carrying broken games it would give publishers incentive to not release broken games. CDPR doesn’t care about you dude, you gain nothing by defending them.

In America, maybe. Because your entire economy is fucking hilariously broken and unfavourable toward the consumer.

Well, when these online retailers use “instant delivery, and instant gratification” as their whole sales pitch, they’re only making their own bed. When they’re unable to deliver on the promise, they still have to sleep in it.

Fuck the CCP
