I froze my balls off at the last game of the 2-14 season a couple of years later. Just to watch Jeff Carlson impersonate a QB for the Pats. And they actually had a chance to win it at the end with a FG....except Carlson took a sack to knock them out of FG range with 20 seconds left.

Whatever else may be said about Patriots fans, that team was so bad for so long that for the gods, paying off Boston’s karmic football debt is a bit like trying to pay off a Ph.D’s worth of student loans on a public school teacher’s salary while living in a Boston apartment.

The fans really can’t use the heat as an excuse. Washington sports fans have made it perfectly clear that they are okay with red skin.

Arthur Blank is, arguably, the most successful businessman in the NFL. For that reason (and naturally because of his intelligence) he has risen to prominence among NFL owners despite his relatively short tenure. I’m hearing good things about the o-line this season. It’ll be interesting to see how they start out here on Saturday. IF they can keep it together and IF they can stay healthy, Hackenberg MIGHT have a decent season.

Christian Hackenberg is one of the best QB’s in college football, for that reason alone Penn State will be worth watching.
