Yes, certainly from what I recall at least. I’ll defer to any and all experts but I think with there being such a range- early onset dementia (if that’s proper term) vs full-blown dementia and everything in between- different folks are liable to exhibit the good day/bad day issues you pointed out.

Really sad story. I have strong suspicions but am not well informed on this case so all I can say is Rest in Power to the young man and condolences to his family/friends. If there’s more to the story I hope the family, and our society, get the answers they (and we) deserve.
