Ooh slippery slopes, my favorite! Easy on the handwringing there, you're well on your way to arthritis.

Nope. In fact, I explicitly said people should be free to take these kinds of risks (although that is not a be all end all, I'm not a glibertarian). Read more carefully.
I never said that I agreed with the law, just that the stigmatization of wearing condoms in the industry is problematic. There should be some sort of regulation making it not mandatory to wear condoms, but illegal to discriminate against performers who want to use them. Such laws are always very difficult to draft and…
I feel like if they want to assume that risk, they have that right.
We need a series of political ads: Show Iraqi refugees, post-Katrina New Orleans, 9/11 footage.
Damn I miss Sonic.
Cute! We'll see how he turns out, but hopefully he got more of his mother's looks.
We're talking about the US but thanks for playing
It should make someone think.
How often do people actually do that though? It should stop and make you think.
Right? When I lived in Miami, no cabbie at the airport wanted to drive to my part of town. And it really wasn't at all dangerous or that far away, it was well within the city limits.
Ok I see what you mean now. To be honest though, I would consider driving someone that distance for $1300. Not under the same circumstances probably.
I feel like if he wanted to do something to her he could've/would've done it long before they got to Atlanta, but who knows. I'm not a creep, so I don't know!
Right. And it's not hard to get from Jersey City to New York, but I wouldn't want a child to have to take the PATH at night instead of a cab because of some stupid law that completely misses the point.
I don't think it's tough to resolve at all. The problem here was not that the driver failed to verify her age. The problem is that, when asked to drive 800 miles in the middle of the night, the cab driver's only question was "Do you have money?" That's not the kind of critical thinking you can legislate.
I also didn't have any form of photo ID until I got my learner's permit at 15. Seems a little ridiculous.
Aw that was the first PG-13 movie I was allowed to see :(
I second this request.
I love him as Riker, but he's not exactly the most capable director. The nicest thing I can say about him is competent. Star Trek's been rebooted-let's not go backwards.
I highly enjoyed Generations. Not really a great movie, but it was fun, and I rewatch it every few years.
