Pfft. Please. The people will not rest until Ronald Reagan is on every bill and coin.

Wash your mouth out. Dolly Parton! Loretta Lynn! Tammy Wynette! The Dixie Chicks! June Carter! Gillian Welch!

THANKS, OBAMA!

This seems more appropriate here than as a late addition in the other thread:

I honestly feel sorry for these guys. They were put in a situation where either they would refuse to break the rules and get fired, or they would do as they were told and get thrown under the bus when the team got caught. I can’t blame them for choosing the path that at least gave them a shot at not getting screwed.

The question isn’t cake vs pie.

Love the consistency — Vikings and Panthers heat balls illegally (similar effect), and get a warning. Chargers use stick-um, fined $25,000. Brady more likely than not being generally aware of similar infractions, suspended 4 games. Makes a lot of sense to me.

Not Brady’s biggest fan but damn this is harsh.

Same number of games as Roethlisberger got for his second sexual assault allegation. Neat.

Knock your wife unconscious in an elevator and your team goes out of its way to not fully investigate: 2 games, no repercussions for the team

Guys. Jesus. Move the fuck on.

Where is Simmons?

Do you guys have some focus group results that suggests people outside your office care as much about Bill Simmons as you all apparently do?

Actually Claire has a sort of duality concerning future events of the 18th century, how do you help without being labelled, would it do any good to change things, and is it even possible. I think her perspective is definitely enhanced due to her interactions with these very real people and yet to know their suffering

BRB. Have to go tell all my friends and family who wished me a happy first mother’s day on Facebook that they’re evil sexist pigs for mentioning the “first” part.

Yeah that line in sthe story bugs me.

Ok, maybe everyone was too blanket a term :D.

I think it throws out such an outlandish situation because it’s fascinating (hearing Claire talk about germs was hilarious) and has that ‘fish out of water’ appeal. I think the underlying question is what would you sacrifice or be ok with if you found *that* person that embodies what fairy tales are made of? Because

I’m still reading the second book so continue reading below for spoilers.
