Tried to, but spectacularly failed. Had a brand new Lexus IS350 at age 23 (when they first came out)...thought I was hot shit. Took a girl out who went on about how nice the Chevy Cobalt her best friend just bought was.

It’s hugely overpriced at MSRP, but to each their own I guess.
I don’t know about that one. Acura has REALLY slipped in reliability over the last few years, whereas Infiniti never had reliability that was anything special. On the flip side, Audi has really improved on the reliability front. You are right that it’s probably not a true 1:1 comparison, but that’s the competition…
There is no reason to have Chrysler and Dodge as two separate brands anymore. None. Fold the 300 and Pacifica into the Dodge brand and get some new models going.
The problem with Infiniti is that it just doesn’t do a single thing better than the other luxury brands. BMWs and Audis are engaging to drive, Mercedes has the cutting-edge tech and brand cache, Lexus is the ultra-reliable one. Infiniti (and Acura) are struggling because they have nothing to differentiate themselves.
The Texas plates make it an automatic disqualification for you David. The lack of oxidation is a huge turnoff. $5k is a good price though. Get it, repair it, flip it. You can make a tidy profit off this thing, then take that few thousand and buy six project Jeeps.
It’s one of those things...would I buy this? Hell no. Not even at $5k. However, a bit of research on the actual market will show that the price is not all that out of line. I won’t call it a nice price, but it’s not a “no dice” either. It’s a fair price.
Your math is hilarious. 74.2 million voters is only 27% of American adults...ok, a couple percent off, but I’ll give it to you. BUT, you’re assuming that 100% of people who didn’t vote would have voted for Biden. Um...no
lol, ok. I guess I’m a fascist for not voting for Democrats then. Whatever you say champ.
Thank you. Exactly correct. The capitol rioters don’t represent mainline Republicans any more than Antifa nuts represent mainline Democrats. I will say that I’m happy Trump is done...he is a cancer to the future of the Republican Party.
Hold on a minute...you’re talking about a few THOUSAND complete idiots as one “side” in our two-party system??? Trump got 74,200,000 votes. Also, keep in mind that everyone voted BEFORE the capitol riot. VERY FEW Republicans support what happened in D.C., Qanon, or any of that stupid shit.
So do people think that comparing the 46% of Americans who voted for the Republican to Hitler/Third Reich is going to “unify” this country? I’ve been hearing quite a few yell “unity” and then say they want to deprogram all Trump voters. Just be honest that you want a political war and stop this disingenuous call for…
Buick has never tried to build cars that appealed to a more youthful demographic (in the past 30+ years). A good first step would have been to give the Solstice/Sky a better interior and make it a Buick. However, Buick is basically dead as a North American brand anyway. It exists solely for the People’s Republic.
Everyone else gets pandered to, why not boomer suburbanites?
Yeah that halfway up paint scheme doesn’t work. Your rendering is much better.
A 2040 something-or-other, because we are still a long way from electric cars being a majority of sales. You must get charging times below 15 minutes with stations on every corner before they become more popular than gasoline/diesel. We are not close.
Um...$200k - $250k? I’m going with crack pipe on this one
Hell, houses in markets once considered cheap (i.e. Dallas, Houston, Austin) are well above that now.
It took the Japanese decades of churning out well-built mainstream cars before getting into the luxury game. Even then, it was slow-going for several years. Hyundai/Kia have improved tremendously, but after building complete piles of shit during the entirety of the 1980's, 90's, and 2000's before finally getting…
Does California prohibit these? Is it an emissions thing or a safety thing?
